Hey Rob,
Arm is $6.- one from Lucky Bob's, listed under 440 parts........ might be 3.5 picked up two advanced one. Haven't done anything else to cars. Do you want to go full blown MM ? Jeff is going to run his MM against the Lycan I just recently got. With all four cars we'd get a good comparison w/times. Sounds good to me.
Have been using quad mags. Bob, has ceramic grade polys for Tyco's. Grabed a couple of them too. Think they are new......... seem strong, along the lines of 290'(bsrt). Been wanting to compare the two types. Should have measured when I got these but couldn't wait to get them in car

Peter I will have to wind an advanced arm. I will make it legal should be a fun test. I will take a pic of the arm showing the ohms on a meter if you like, let me know. That way I don't have to spend any more money...  The mags should make the big difference anyway. I'll try and stay close...... I did not see any of those mags. |

Been looking at the two arms(stock) that came with these cars....... lt. green wire 7 ohm......... Have you ever dbl wound an inline ? Just did this with 15 ohm AW and got 3.9 ea pole. Stock wire. Was wondering what might happen if I did it with the two stock tyco's.

Match race with Nitro Viking should be fun. Pceng looking forward to our match race. Yes, I have wound several double wind inline motors over the years. Most have been 1/24th scale. Not sure what a 40,40 would be depends on length. I have not done one of those. Maybe Jim has done one of these and could enlighten us.

My self have a race team and is about to start making my own strip in the south Wairarapa. Bottom off the north island. I am pride to be involved with NTRA, All the best to all racers ..

15 DAYS TO THE LABOR DAY NATIONALS!!
SHIPPING DAY IS SOONER THAN THAT!!
Is everybody on schedule to get their cars complete? Need to get on it because the clock is ticking. Are you in a points battle or a spoiler? There are definitely both out there. Now is the time to step up and throw down. Racing all season has been anybody's game so let's see it! This is the last time these 3 classes will run this year. If you haven't signed up, it's still not too late. If you have then get ready to get it on!! Here are a few race facts........
Street class is a 3 way battle for Class points leader and Top Eliminator between TGM2054, KS1933, and NitroViking. TGM and KS have some bracket points earned early in the year working in their favor, but NitroViking has closed the points gap by winning both events already this season. If NitroViking is able to pull out the win it will be a clean sweep! Let's not forget about the other cars that are entered. Lot and lots of spoilers out there! Everybody has a say in how this turns out. Let's see what happens. 
Top Fuel class is another 3 way battle for Class points leader and Top Eliminator between JJWallace, EagleRacing, and Phantombse with Stinger in the mix in Top Eliminator (only 2 wins out of first). These four have been glued together all season but there are other fast cars on their heels. Once again.....everybody has a say in how this turns out. Are you gonna be in the mix or watching from the sidelines is the real question?? 
Nostalgia Top Fuel.......well there are 2 that have battled all season....SKR and JJWallace.....Points and Top Eliminator are up for grabs in this one as well. But the focus cannot be on them only. No no no......there are several other cars that are blistering the track.....EagleRacing, Phantombse, and Stinger to name a few. SKR is the standout here. He has put himself in position to sweep the Texas F.E.D. events for the season. Are there others that are stepping up their game for this one as well? We will have to see.
Then there is the Kiwi Challenge match race! 4 racers from New Zealand have challenged 4 racers from the States. Not only is there personal pride at stake , but national pride as well . The Kiwi's are strong....do we have anything for them?? We will see.
Doug412 is a part of the last 2 match races that are lined up. He has challenged Eagles dragbike. As far as I know, the drag bike is undefeated in the NTRA . Will Doug do the deed? It could happen. Pceng and JJWallace will be running the last match race that will be more of a comparison between a Lycan DBR chassis to a MM/PS SG+.Well racers....that's the lowdown on what is upcoming. There are other Points and Top Eliminator standings that are up for grabs. These are just a few. We are looking forward to a great event. OH YEA!!
