Today, sometime after 12:00, my Poppy sucumbed to complications from his Parkinson's disease. He went peacefully after drawing his last breath. Unfortunately, I was not able to make it in time to be with him, that is the only regret I have!

Jim Very sorry for your lose. Don't beat yourself up about not being there. I lost my father in a freak car accident in 1996. He was a half mile from the house. So I know and feel your pain. Poppy my no longer be here in the physical state, but will always be with us in the spiritual state. When ever you feel sad think of the good times you shared. I guarantee you will smile again. Whenever something good happens to me I look up to the sky and thank my dad for always looking out for me.
