2015 OUTLAW SHOOTOUT SIGN UP NOW OPEN!
If you have not already started, it's time to get to wrenching on those rods
for the 2015 NTRA season. Opening the season is Racemaster Dave632 of
Smokey Mountain Dragway and it's a wild one. OUTLAW SHOOTOUT is a
performance builders' dream. You know you guys have to prove yourselves
over and over again, you are only as good as your last race. Think you are
still ranking at the top of the heap? Think you caught a bad light, or driver
was not on his game? Well, here's your chance to redeem yourself. Sign up
now and show 'em what you got!
.
Track info:
Max Trax 15' 7.5" x8.5" Rail height .011-.012. Shut down 7.5' with the last 3' steel
bars. Catch box and cushioning after that.
Power supplies 2-10 amp up to 30 volts. For the Pro Mod race voltage will be set
at 22v per NTRA standard.
For the Outlaw and the brackets voltage will be set at 20v.
Rules
INLINE DOORSLAMMER :
Click here to see N2 chassis build
OUTLAW INLINE, AFX/MAGNA/X, & TJET :
Only American full fendered bodies on all 3 classes. Most all else goes including
4WD, Painted Lexan bodies, any tire wheel combo, any armature including custom
winds, any magnets, any commercially available brush, NO wet brush for now.
BRACKET RACE :
No rules at all for this one, just some kind of body on a chassis.
If enough entries are received, (24 or more), this bracket race will be divided into
3 classes, Street, Pro, and Super Pro. 2 classes if 16-23 are entered, Street and
Pro. The reason for this is simple. Running many different cars on my track the
faster cars have a definite advantage in the reaction time department. Separating
them into different groups will give the slower cars a better chance for a win. I will
post all the qualifiers on Thursday, 3 for each car, and racers can sent me their
dial in. If I do not receive a dial in from the racer I will use your low qualifying time
less a 5 hundredths cushion.
