Congrats to SJ racer for qualifying #1. Surprised mine did that well my NPS were beating it easily when running heads up voltage.

Congratulations to Top Qualifiers Al Pink and Sjracer.........great job!! Good race turnout and some really good looking cars. I love seeing the custom builds....one offs....replica's....it doesn't matter. Phantom good job as well! Looking forward to the weekends coverage. Good luck to all racers today.

I love seeing all those custom paint jobs, it helps to ease the pain of my slow cars. Hey first time for everything. The fact that you are in there battling with the rest of us is the key. You did a lot better than I did in my last proxy race where one of my cars was the foundation car... sitting at the bottom holding up the rest of the cars. Testing and trying different things is how we go faster and quicker. For the January Outlaw race I tested and tuned for over a month finding out what worked and what did not. Since then I found out that 20 amps is not enough to get the Outlaw cars going at peak performance when 2 are running together. Two 20-30 amp power supplies are a future addition to my track, one for each lane, so the amp draw of one car does not effect the other.

Looks like weight is not as much of a factor as we thought. If cars are seeded by ET the race between the 5th and 6th qualifier should be determined by reaction times..001 difference aint much. If one hits a small breeze that could make a win loss difference.
