We now have counting the rest of today until race day 18 DAYS LEFT!! All entries will need to be at the Blacktop Raceway by July the 8th. Racers please remember your entry fee's and mark the entry number on each entry. THE 4TH OF JULY WILL MINUS A SHIPPING DAY AS WELL AS SUNDAYS. THAT TAKES AWAY 3 DAYS OF WHAT IS LEFT. So get those cars ready to race.

 The 2015 Summer Nationals are just 15 days away!!
Spy reports have been filtering in slowly. Angry Jeff's last defeat in the Door Slammer class was at the hands of the Echicks. Word is Amy said she has more than enough horsepower to take Jeff.
Phantom has been working hard on his M/FC. His MM/PS have dominated on the Blacktop. Will it continue?
SKR is back to defend his N/TF title. He feels really bad about blowing Jeff off the track last year.....NOT....

Blacktop Raceway is running faster than ever since the rebuild. That means that track records are bound to fall during the 2015 Summer Nationals. Track records that are up for grabs are........- TF .632et @ 26v Phantombse set during the 2014 Summer Nationals- DS. .722et @ 18v JJWallace set during the 2014 Summer Nationals- N/TF .485et @ 26v SKR set during the 2014 East / West Bracket Shootout- MM/PS .428et @ 26v Pretty in Pink set during the 2014 East / West Bracket ShootoutNew records will also be set in the PS/MC and M/FC classes. Still time to get in the game!! 15 days left before race day!! We need some more racers so dive in! Very easy to do and the effort will be worthwhile. The race is going to be a good one.

A question has been asked about com drops being used. The answer is yes it is ok. I am sure we have all seen some cars react well to com drops and others don't. I like to use them as more of a contact cleaner/conductor on dirty braids. The call is up to the racer. Just send your special instructions as always and we will comply. Please put your name on your bottle if you send any, thanks.

Viper does have great stuff and they are not that pricey. They just came out with a new machine wound armature that ohms 2.4 to 2.7 for only $10! They also have great magnets, wheels, chassis etc........ Check them out.

Good job on the sponsorship Robert! Kudos to Viper for sponsoring for sure and of course thanks. I look forward to seeing their stuff. I've only seen it on their site. Man I am really looking forward to this race!! I just finished all my immediate house projects so other than the normal mowing, cleaning, etc., I am free to focus on cars and the race. Summer Nationals are only 10 days away!! |
