OK, closing in on this event.
I request that all entries be here by/on Thursday September 3rd.
cars that arrive by Friday will still be included but it will be easier for me to have them by Thursday.
I get my mail at a mail service so I will NOT be able to pick up any Packages on Saturday September 5th.
I hope this leaves everyone plenty of time to tune and ship their cars.
also, please try to have your cars numbered, your name and return address on a slip of paper along with your Nitro ID>
I think I know who everyone is, but I want to avoid mistakes.
with your assitance this race will come off well.
I hope to get some video footage and post it.
this mught not be real time as I am a total amatuer with current video technology.
but I hope to get footage.

Cars were loaded on the hauler this morning and are headed to Norristown, Pennsylvania. Raceday in a week!! OH YEA!!

Car's are on the way. I did not have time to tune them so they are what they are. The return of the Blue Paper Weight will be in the Econo class. It should live up to it's name......  Al have fun, enjoy the race and thanks for running the race. |

hey guys ....
two haulers have arrived and have been spending some time at the motel waiting for me to open the track.
Dale's and Mac's crews have been waiting patiently I think.
haven't heard any reports from the constables, so they must have kept thier party pretty quiet.
anyway, pics soon. charging batteries for camera. being out of town for work cramps my style. but this week will be different.

I'm glad you posted photos today Al. I was packing mine up and went to get your address and noticed that there was already a red Willys so I swapped mine for a bird. Anyways my cars are at the post office and will be there on Wednesday.  |

I could only find one pic of one of the cars I sent to Thunder Road race. It is of my econo dragster, aka the Blue Paper Weight. Sam coined the name because the car only made one pass all year in Nostalgia Top Fuel. So I converted it over to econo dragster class. I sure hope it does better, anyway here is the pic.
