Man! I take a couple days off and you guys go nuts on this stuff! John, I need lane choice so I'm working on an alternative answer to the one you must have stolen from me. Love the climbing the pinion gear as that's exactly what happens. 4.56 and higher gears and it's just about one tooth that's doing all the work! Ok...Next... Back in the 50's some very high paid, high degree'd engineers used their slide rules and came up with the "Fact" that drag racing was stupid because no car could ever top 200 mph. I think they said the max limit was in the 180's. Of course 200 mph was topped twice in the same weekend in 1960. However, when the square inches of rubber in contact with the pavement is calculated into the coefficient of rubber verses concrete or blacktop, it still doesn't calculate. Anybody know what the "Theory" is called that refutes that? John, if you know, pm me. If you don't know, I get lane choice.

actuially the figure I hear that couldn't be exceded was 150!!! Always be suspicious of a man who carries a slide rule. (unless he is offering you a beer) Your lane choice is looking good. I din't realize there was a refutation...................other than a time slip of course lol. There was a poor soul in charge of the patent dept for the US around 1900. He suggested closing the dept as everything that could be invented, already had been.
P.S which are we refuting............does the theory still say we can't exceed 200? Or are we trying to refute that limit?
