Vince I'm going to say yes. I know the NHRA has gone to no hood scoops, but I haven't necessarily adopted it yet. The countdown clock says 13 days till the Winter Nationals!! Quick reminder that ALL classes will be run at 18 volts. Also....cars need to be here by Thursday March 3rd. Qualifying begins first thing on Friday morning. We are looking forward to a great race here at Bear Creek Dragway and a great 2016 racing season here on Nitroslots!!

I have been informed that all cars have now arrived safely in N.Z. So knowing that I will focus totally on the Winter Nationals that is now only 10 days away!! There is still plenty of room and enough time to get entered in the race. We would sure like to see as many racers/cars here as possible!! The fun and competition will be great and lots of cool stuff to giveaway from our sponsors. Sooooo........come on and give it a try. Everybody has some stock chassis laying around that are dying to be run. Due to the NTRA International being delayed 1 week, Nitroslots will have back to back proxy events on consecutive weekends on two separate continents! Kinda cool to think about. Anyway I am looking forward to both events!!
Come on and join the fun at the 3rd Annual Winter Nationals in North Texas on March 4 - 6!!
We need a few more entries to top off the already great field of cars.
Gonna be great!! OH YEA!!

Jim at Jag Hobbies sent some unfinished Dash body kits as prizes for the upcoming Winter Nationals. This 68-69 Chevelle is one of those bodies that I painted for a local racer. These kits are really sweet. The chrome and windshield pieces come wrapped in tissue paper and the bodies are super clean. Jim sent (3) different kits........a late 60's early 70's Olds 442, 68-69 Chevelle, and early 70's Camaro. All unpainted except for one Yenko Chevelle that is painted. All good stuff for sure. Jag Hobbies has sponsored several proxy races at Bear Creek Dragway. I will start taking some pictures of the prizes and showcasing the sponsors this next week. Looking forward to a great race!!

Sorry guys I forgot to send out the race address. Should have done that a week ago. It has been sent to everyone now. Most of you already had it for the International race. I want to congratulate Vince and Sam on their wins in New Zealand! Can they carry that momentum through to North Texas?? That was a great week of racing we all just had. This next week will be spent organizing and getting everything ready. Looking forward to putting on a great event......at least we are gonna try  .
