that's great Greg. There are 2 vacant spots on the list so chances are good. Any other new comers want to join in on the fun? Just reply here saying you want in. Eagle Racing will send shipping info early next month.

For now, please put me down for one PSO and one bracket car. May add more later. Will be watching for potential match races.

Greg Welcome to the fun of racing on the list. My son used to race with me in the past. In my opinion the rules for list cars are very good, Enough to make the cars run fast without high cost or any weird rules. Dave

Exactly why I came back to racing here at NS. Only rules that effect the performance of the cars and costs are stated now. Also the competition here at NS is the best I have found. I am sure you and your son will like the list racing. Just like the TV show Street Outlaws, which just finished it's 5th season, but without the huge cost of running a 1/1. In the past I ran a 1/1 car that competed in the local Pro Mod races. It had an aluminum 632 with big chief heads, sheet metal intake with 2 fogger stages and a plate under each of the 1150 dominators. I could not begin to get the power to the track it could make. I never made a full clean pass with even only one 250 nitrous stage on, always had to pedal it at least once. Despite being a full moly pro built chassis it needed upgrades to handle that much power. It was very expensive to run but I must admit I am glad I did it.

I have always had a love for drag racing. Although I was never a track racer, I did a ton of street racing growing up, both motorcycles and cars. The Detroit metro area always has had a rich history of street racing. While I have not ever had a purpose built track car, I have had several cars built to street race. Not anything like on street outlaws, those aren't street cars in my opinion. If you have to drag it around on a trailer, it ain't a street car. You can race it on the street, but you're not going to be running any errands in it lol. The fastest cars I've owned were a '70 SS Nova with the L78 396. It had around 475 hp with the mods I had on it. And a '67 Chevelle 327 L30, it had around 400 hp. Did a lot of racing with those two. Won more than I lost, had a ball with them. I love this site, and the drag series Y'all have going on here. Look forward to participating in all the classes.

Those cars are as much a street car as my lawn tractor. They are very similar to the purpose built car I ran in the past and I certainly never took that to the grocery store. In my younger days I street raced a lot, not at all in recent times. Here is a pix of the car before all the nitrous plumbing was added.

Wow, there was some close racing there. I'd like to call out Dave for #1 again on day 2 with a lane swap.

I'd like to call out Nosubfor3 for the 5th spot. Unless we have to go one step at a time. If thats the case make it number 6.
