Good question Bill. Sorry should have posted details earlier!! Thanks, that exactly what I was looking for! Slot Dragon is what I have for my track too. Do you use the photo sensors? Up till this point mine has been the clip on sensors, but I ordered the photo cells. The clip- ons don't work with pancake cars. Taping small magnets to the sides of the bodies is a pain. If you don't mind I may want to pick your brain on some fine points of racing with the Slot Dragon system. Thanks, Bill

Bill the photocells are a better way to go but you will need strong light above the sensors.

Sure thing Bill, I'm more than happy to help if I can. Photo cells are the way to go. They don't like florescence lights!

Cars are ready to go. I will ship them to Jeff well before the 10th of Feb. for shipping to New Zealand. Are you going to have any match races at this event?

The rules for stock allow for aftermarket electrical parts. Can aftermarket brushes be used? Or do I use the stock brushes with the little dimple on them in both classes being run?

I'll have to let KD answer that. I think I need to take down the rules and just let the race masters post what they are running. I think it would help out with the confusion.

Sam I think the basic rules are good and should be left up as a reference. Even pure stock races have allowed brushes to be replaced. Race masters can indicate if there is some deviation from the standard.

Aftermarket brushes, pick up shoes, wheels and tires are fine.

I would like to keep the rules up. I don't understand why we went through getting everything ironed out with them only to remove them?? I personally don't want to set my own rules. I like working from an existing rules format. What is confusing is when the Racemasters set their own rules for every event apart from the format that was agreed on. IMHO

Put me n for two n/fc.thanks. Mac I received your cars today. Looks like they had a rough trip here. Both bodies were off the chassis, which isn't good considering they were screwed on. But everything still looks ok with them....nothing broken. I will repack them nice and secure before sending to Kiwiland.

IMHO Agreed, we need some basic guidelines to go by. I surely disagreed with some of the rules in the past but now all the rules are relevant to performance. Items like location of a guide pin or body mounts have no place in race rules.
