After consideration of allowing the 4G chassis to run in our Pro Street Outlaws class I've decided that it would only be fair to leave PSO alone and start a separate "4G Outlaws" list that is similar to PSO. Rules (posted below) would follow our "Door Slammer" rules that we have ran in the past. The first event to see where you'll be on the list will be at Jeff's Door Slammer event in March. This event will only determine the list order once cars are all qualified. 4G Outlaws only allows one car per entrant so if you send in 2 cars to Jeff's event.... only your quicker car will determine your spot on the list. No call outs at Jeff's event for list spots as this will only be the initial placing order.
Minimum weight allows the competitor to get into the spirit of the class without worrying about having a weight disadvantage. Race masters do not need to own a scale. One will be provided for the event if needed. Poster putty will be added to the underside of the body for cars that do not meet the minimum weight requirements. Competitors that do not have scales whose car comes in light, will have poster putty placed on the underside of the body by the race master where it'll not interfere with moving parts. Your car will be sent back after your first event with poster putty stuck on the under side of your body. You will be able to easily remove and place the weight where you'd like on the underside of the body for future events. |

I've started building something! I'm going to use a stock Green/Blue tip dragster arm chassis. Just to get on the list at Jeff's race in March. If I can get the bits together I'll try and build a mean green chassis as well. I've admired the Doorslammer class from the first time I saw it on NitroSlots. Fast, good looking custom HO cars! Will this become the "Big tire" class? ??

Bondoman use to run those armatures in his D/S. The car ran good and he won the first Door Slammer event held at PSD in 2011. Here are some pictures from that event. Bondo has the blue Cuda.

Hi Blues, If I remember correctly these armatures ohm at less than 5.5 ohms which is the class legal minimum so it would not be legal.

Thanks Sam, Yes they generally are less than 5 ohms, do you allow them in the unlimited classes? Really digging your site here!

Hey Mike. Anything goes in the unlimited classes, so it would be legal. Hope to see out at my race in March!
