Round 2 of AFX SS eliminations:

Races should tighten up a lot for these rounds.

First up is the TQ Hilltop with a green 69 Camaro vs. Woodcote and his
Ford Thunderbolt Georgia Shaker.
This race is a close one as the TQ slowed some. The Ford gets a small hole shot
and holds it until about the 330 when the Camaro pulls away for the win running
.8110 16.71 over the T bolts .9339 13.36 for a .1118 win.

Next up is #2 Clyde o mite org Ford Falcon vs Nosubfor3 and his red/bk 78 Vette.
Clyde's car is up to the task running a very good .7602 17.35 over the good .8697 16.96
of the Vette.

3rd matchup of the quarterfinals is EC Bill and his blu/wh 57 Chevy vs Dave632 and his
blu/slvr 57 Vette. This should be a close one but Bills 57 Chevy says no way as he once
again betters his best ET and mph running .7504 19.99 to run away from the Vette which
ran a .8874 16.55

Final run of this round finds Alexdale, rd/gld 57 Chevy vs. Kiwidave, blu/bk Plymouth.

This should be a great race but once again problems. The 57 seems to have had the front
window come loose slowing the car. Kiwi makes a stout run however with a winning
.7733 17.05 over the slowing 1.6872 7.17 of the 57.

Semi finals coming up, all 4 are running well, this should be some close racing.

Here we go with the AFX SUPER STOCK FINAL:

Both cars have picked up performance from qualifying and Bills 57 has
been leading the way all thru eliminations. We don't race on paper so here
goes what should be a good final.
Bills 57 falls behind slightly as Dave gets .001 hole shot, Bill makes it up
by the 60'and is ahead by .01 at the 330', extends the lead to .02 by the 660 and
gets a final win margin of .0281 to take the AFX Super Stock class.

Bills car was the picture of consistency in this race as it picked up .03-.04 over qualifying in eliminations and never let it go.
Times only ranged about .01 for the 57 thru out the class eliminations. Nice job Bill.

both cars ran their best of the event.

Next up Nosubfor3 blu/wh Vette vs KiwiDave and his wh/gn Dodge.
This was the best race of the event so far as Dave gets the jump in reaction
and 60' to hold the lead at the 660 but Nosubs power was able to squeak out
a win by .0051 running a .6130 23.59 over the close .6293 21.65 of Dave
