A couple of eager race teams have already shown up in North Texas. Schlesenerj has been at the dragstrip since June 6th doing some testing and getting comfortable in the pits. He is ready to do some list work in Pro Street Outlaw.Next to pull in with a full complement of entries was Dave632. These cars are looking good. Team was quick to get unloaded and start setting up as soon as they pulled in Tuesday afternoon.
Welcome to Bear Creek Dragway!!

Hilltop's hauler pulled in yesterday afternoon....also from Tennessee like Dave632. Some sweeet looking rides in this group! The Comp Cams 4GO Camaro and PSO 55 Chevy "Grady" have been here before, but the others have not. A couple of nice GM products for the Manuf. Chall. and a slick green '69 Camaro to go at N.Z. Green is the color of money! Welcome back to Bear Creek Randy!

It's race week guys and gals and we are excited here at Bear Creek Dragway!
Cars are expected to start pouring in this week in anticipation of this weekends competition. Track crews will be continuing preparation for the coming event and camera crews are ready to get some great coverage. If your cars have not been mailed......well you are putting it in the hands of the USPS and 2 day....next day delivery. It doesn't always work out the way they say it will, but we will keep our fingers crossed that everybody gets here safely...in good shape...and on time. Thank you to all that entered. It is going to be fun and competitive!

Tracking on the cars from SC says that they were delivered to a parcel locker in Euless TX. Whatever that means? Hopefully it means they got to you.

No bazooka crew this time. Last crew still MIA. Last word from them was that they heard banjo music somewhere in Tennessee.
Looking forward to the racing action.
Lots of nice looking cars rolling in.

Nosubfor3 is a veteran here at Bear Creek and we are happy to welcome him back! Vince is showing support for the Chevy and Independent teams and sent two 4 gear cars for the Kiwi Challenge. The two list cars are strong runners with the "Blue Silk" PSO Corvette running hot and in the #2 spot. It is also the self proclaimed "new #1" . Ecbill has traveled from the east coast with his four car team. We know these cars will be strong. He has sent one car each for the Challenge races. The "Steeler" Corvette is sitting #4 on the PSO list and the "Blue Streak" Charger is sitting atop the 4GO list. With one day left we almost have everyone in the house! Thank you guys and gals for the great turnout! It's going to be a full and fun weekend of racing. Welcome to Bear Creek Dragway!!

Looks like some good racin ahead. I already know the winner of the Manufactures challenge will be a Chevy but the rest of the racin is up for grabs. Looking forward to the PSO Challenge as the last race for #1 was close. The Rebel Nomad was slightly off it's best when I checked it out so we will have to see what happens there. It will be Vince vs Vince in that one, first name Vince vs last name Vince.

Today's arrivals were Eagle Racing and JJWallace. Eagle Racing had a short 40 min drive from Plano. He is representing the Chrysler Team with his RAM truck and Charger. The Blue Camaro is no stranger to Bear Creek or the Kiwi Challenge. It is historically a runner anytime it shows up. Along with Eagle is new member Rider and his super sharp '63 Grand Sport Corvette to support the Chevy Team. Welcome Rider and welcome back Robert! This is home track for JJWallace....so he did not have to go far. He is hoping to support the Ford team with two entries. Pinto NF/C is here for a little redemption and to help get the crown back from N.Z. List cars are wanting to do some call out damage.
We have a great turnout and I thank everyone that entered for that. Without you there is no race! Only one Challenge racer could not make the race, but all other entries for the Challenge races are on site and ready to roll. I have not heard from (5) racers on the Outlaw lists, so at this point I have to assume they will not be here. There will be list movement based on that alone. I will post updated lists showing those position changes either this evening or Thursday morning. It all begins early tomorrow and we are excited here at Bear Creek! Good luck to everyone!
