Nick has been a boost to us at Nitro slots. Plus his tires are the best I have found. I have been able to pick up a few thousandths in the 60' times when I have switched to Super tires. Only place they do not work is in Unlimted where any tire will unglue itself and fly off the rim.

Looks like a tough group Dave, a couple of those cars have been down the Smoky mountain track quite a few times and have done well. So far I have you down for 2 veteran stock and 1 super comp, are the other 2 running PSO & 4GO? Here was a super close race you had in the past: Hairy canary vs KiwiDave, finish

So when 6 ohm is mentioned, does that cover afx, tyco 440x2 and thunderjet type chassis?
I sometime mix it up whenohms and in line are mentioned.
My goal is to send up to 4 cars 2 440x2 1 afx mega g 1 aurora style tjet or manga traction
Next question, if I use other than factory pick shoes, can I still be in the ‘beginner’ class? Thanks , Mike

I put you down for 4 cars in the SS class. Good luck at the race. 6 ohm includes any inline chassis except the hand built type such as BSRT, Slotech, Wizzard, Viper. The AFX mega G is OK. The AFX Magna traction chassis is a pancake type as is the T jet so they would not be eligible. You could enter an AFX in the following weeks Pro Street list race however. The ohms are the readings on the poles of the armature. The armature is inline with the pinion gear that goes directly to the crown gear and that is why it is called an inline. As long as the pickup does not have braid on it any shoe will do and you can still run rookie class.

Thanks for the info Dave, maybe I’ll send one of the AFX for the follow up race, and send my other three for this one.

Very cool and original pics Gnome!! I like those. That Trick Camaro brings back memories. I had one when I was a kid. Don't know what happened to the body. Your looks...well....trick lol. I am very curious as to what 1/1 cars acted as the stages for your 1/64 cars. Look like a group of Fords except for the super charged one??

Imaginative pictures there gnome. Showing the old Flathead up to the Supercharged versions of some motors. Looking forward to seeing your cars arrive here at the track.
