Thanks for all the interest and encouraging words everyone. it helps to keep me motivated. I was talking with my wife last night about what classes we might want to run,I'm leaning towards unlimited

Hi Pete, I have but a few T-jet style pancakes at the moment. Several Johnny Lightnings, AW T-jets, and several stock 4-gears. I've only been into HO about a year. My collection is very small. I'll get there eventually.  |

Maybe 4 or 5 3g runners. Now I have a whole room FULL of stuff and a pro level track in the garage. Depending on how bad your addiction is.....time will only tell. Oh and there is no known cure  |

I will go with a 1.0 index which most chassis can run with a little work. Getting them consistent is another story. I started posting on Nitro slots about 8 years ago. I had over 100 HO slot cars at that time from when I was younger and from when my sons were younger. I sold off many of them but also kept buying drag style cars until the count was over 200. I sold off a lot of them and now I have about 150. |

Jeff and Dave, Thank you very kindly. Gnome's new track is my inspiration these days. Thank you Mr Gnome! Testing is critical to knowing where my cars stand within the field. As far as cars go. Someone with the exact same name, address, and credit card number keeps sending me cars that I happen to really like. So, it's all good except for the invoice at the end of the month.   |

Thank you very kindly for asking. I'll try and build anything except unlimited classes.
I have lots of mean green pancake armatures ready to go into cars. Several 14-Ohm Typhoons on the bench.
I still have no inlines, and want to order a few 6-Ohm inline chassis. Have not yet made up my mind on which brand to buy or where to buy from. I hate wasting money.
Please don't let me sway your race class choices. I'll catch up eventually. Once I get a proper track, there will be a party on the patio!

Ken my suggestion for an Inline chassis to buy/start with would be the Super G+ platform. Tomy, BSRT G3, and Viper all use those style chassis and the parts are interchangeable. They are also the dominating chassis for the most part. I hate wasting money as well. My 2 cents..... |
