Making a little bit of progress . Need to print some specialty decals for both bodies, yet. And put glass in the pro mod. Attempted this once before and it didn't turn out that great but did learn some things, so am hoping this time turns out better .

Curious about what type of windows you plan to make for these 2 cars? Resin, vacuum formed or cut and paste.

Thanks for the inquiry, Bill. The Willy's delivery was cast with separate resin windshield & rear door glass. They didn't cast that well and most I noticed, need filling and sanding , still learning . The red pro mod body I acquired from 660 Slots some time ago, before he was including the vac formed glass units. It did come with a chunk of celluloid for cutting the glass pieces and I have always been a bit intimidated about doing that, even though his instructions on his web site are crystal clear. I've really wanted to use this body so decided to bite the bullet and get it done. Will be doing the front & back glass for sure and hopefully, with enough material left, be doing the side pieces also. So o o o, to make a long story short; cut & paste the glass on the red body. Good or bad, I'll post results. Plan to do it today.

Some guys make that process look easy but it’s not for me. if it had been cast from a die cast and you had the die cast windows, I would offer to vacuum form a set for you.

Have always been impressed with the various diorama type setups some of you have, so decided to put a garage one together today. It was fun! Got a few more things to set around in there but I'll acquire those as time goes on. Probably should have made the actual tool cabinet/bench but I might do that later .
