I been working on this 53' Studebaker, seems like forever , to get it ready to mold and cast. I think it'd be easier to learn the bass part to a Rush song than work on these lil' guys , sometimes. Put some primer on today and I'm getting closer, ways to go yet but feel like I'm making progress.
Gale, you really pick some good bodies to cast. Where do we get in line for one on those Studes?

The Stude was always a popular drag car as it aerodynamic lines were far ahead of their time.

I think it's realistic that I'll be sending some to Jeff's next race for 'sponsor bodies', though. Some details to fix but I'm considering making a mold before I cut the wheel wells out. That way I could realistically make 2 different versions; 1 for a 4-gear long wheel base and 1 that would fit a SG+, Viper or similar, in the long wheel base mode, I'm thinkin' that would be about as cool as a pocket on a shirt . We'll see how ambitious I get .

Gale Would Truly enjoy building a few of these 53 Studebaker's, like to do a 4gear with rear fender wells, Closed,Tires and wheels hidden, Would make for some nice Flames. 🐉inistauri

First 2 "Studezilla" bodies out of the mold .
Got tired of workin' on it so I went with a 4-gear medium wheelbase. If someone was ambitious, it wouldn't be that hard to fit it to a viper or similar chassis. Besides, I got product to use up and gotta put the move on .
