Todays objective is to get through Eliminations in all 3 Classes. That's a lot of racing, but I'm going to try and get it done. As as reminder......voltages that are being used are ISR 20v, ISV 20v, and 4GSC 24v. First up will be Inline Stock Rookie. We have some solid performers throughout the class so anybody could win! GOOD LUCK!!

Inline Stock Rookie Round 1
Race 1 The Mach I driver is up on the wheel and gets out on the truck but the little Willys starts pulling at mid track and rolls by for the win. GTS win .7413et Triple52 lose .7909et
Race2 Triple52's drivers are on it today and gets another holeshot. Hotwheels crew obviously found something after Qualifying and puts the Mopar on the trailer. Mustang picks up .04 and takes the win .6366et to lose 1.0060et.
Race 3 Both cars slow from Qualifying times, but Hilltop is the worst and his Challenger watches Kstock's Mustang pull away. win .7017et lose .9889et
Race 4 Drivers hit the pedal at the same time. The Corvette stumbles and that's all Mustang Paul needed. The Mustang crosses the line first. Mustang Paul moves on. win .7471et lose .8190et
Race 5 GTS and is Nomad fall way off of QT but still has enough to send Mazda's Charger home for the day. GTS wins .7746et lose .8307et

Congratulations to the first round winners. These cars are unpredictable as can be seen with times improving or falling off, pancakes chassis are even more unpredictable. Looks like Steve's car will be a tough contender today. We will see, that's why we run the races on the track not on paper.

Inline Stock Rookie Round 2
Race 6 GTS gets the holeshot and stays out through 60' but Steve's G body starts cookin' after that and goes on to turn on the win light. Steve .5837et GTS .7212et
Race 7 This is our first upset of the day. The slower car coming into this race was Kstocks but they found something between rounds. Hotwheels stutters at the hit and that's where he lost. Kstocks wins .6999et Hotwheels .7023et
Race 8 Mustang Paul gets a big holeshot and picks up his ET, but Kstocks red Mustang is just too strong and he easily takes the win. Kstocks .6126et Must Paul .6852et
Race 9 This was a wire to wire win for the Camaro from the UK. GTS got some ET back but is going to the spectator stands for the rest of this race. Mazda moves on .5954et GTS .7380et

Inline Stock Rookie Semi Finals
Semi Race 1 Kstocks driver was late off the line but it didn't matter. Steve's Grand National is on a tear and blisters the track with the best ET of eliminations. .5794et wins over .7106et
Semi Race 2 This was a close race. Both drivers wanted it bad. Kstocks launches first and is out to the 660' mark, but the Camaro is right there and pulls ahead by a bumper. Thats where it stays through the traps. Mazda with his best ET so far .5930et to a losing .6247et

Congratulations to all the 2nd round winners in Rookie Inline. Would like to have seen the race between Kstocks and Hotwheels, with only .0024 separating the cars it was a squeaker.
Steve's car is hot today and looking for the win. Mazda is right on his heels with his best showing to date. Both cars are running better than the best Rookies at my last event. Good luck to both in the final. A stutter at the start would surely hurt the chances of either car.

The stage is set........
These two have bested the field today to go against one another in the Finals. Both cars have been getting faster each round. Who's going to get it? Should be a good one so stay tuned!

I would like to congratulate Steve on his win. Unfortunately the video of the race does not seem to be working. Could you please let us see the times and speeds. This was so exciting and brilliant coverage. I look forward the the next session of racing. Thanks again for the superb organisation Jeff. Clive
