Dave's race in Dec, Git Er Dun All I sent was dry pearls and all had a Dry Bonz decal on them. Dry pearls are typically mixed in a clear or candy (or under candy) and shot over a base. They can be mixed in a base but their brilliance becomes muted. The interference pearls have an appearance all their own. Shot over a white base, you get subtle hints of color. Shot over dark bases, they pop with color. Among other pearls and some flake, I am gonna send a couple "high end" pearls and flakes, and maybe a couple "Area 51" paint goodies for prizes at the Fall Nationals. I am waiting on a couple 1/25th drag bodies to get here, when I do, I will do a couple painting how to's and post them. Granted they are bigger but slingin' paint is slingin' paint!

My cars returned home safe yesterday too. Thank You to the sponsors. Thanks to Angry Jeff Racing for the very cool body and Cozee for the cool participate sticks and pearl flakes. A how to use it would be very helpful. I've used the pearl flakes only once and that was on my Aces Wild Willys. I added just a little to the clear. I didn't know what I was doing and didn't want to over do it and really screw it up. Didn't know what the effects would be adding it to anything else. Thanks again Gnome for all you and crew did to put on a very successful event. Rick

Received my cars today safe and sound. Thank you Gnome, Motor City Crew, and sponsors for a very entertaining event. Got some very cool dry pearls I can hardly wait to use, some stickers (I love me some stickers), and a cool Hot Wheels truck that has a lot of casting potential. Thanks to all of you that entered and made it a competitive race.
