Added "ADDENDUM 1b" to the first post of this thread. It concerns info on the lowering of magnets on the Jag DR1. It is a link to what was allowed at Jeff's Texas Nats in September. The same allowance is intended for this event. Thanks, Gale

Here's a picture of the trophy/awards, that I made, that will be given to the appropriate winners and sent back with their car(s). All cars entered in either class are eligible for the "Best In Show". Only 5 weeks away.

Been working on my inline stockers. Changed one of the cars to a 57 Chevy body running a Viper chassis which will be running along side the red 55 Chevy, Jag DR powered. Both of them are running well now. My 4 gears are running poor right now and need more work. MVC-052S by Dave Vince

Some tuning going on at Bear Creek as well. The DR-1 trucks are putting some runs in as well as a couple of SG+ Pantera's that showed up thinking they were going to take one of the truck spots. Well.........the Chevy's will be heading to the Northwest. The SG+ cars just didn't have enough. I could have gotten some more out of them, but I don't think it would have been enough. Still some fine tuning left to do on both trucks though.

This has been my tuning progress so far, On the 4G/SS Lampoon Vacation Wagon, I still gotta put a paint job on it and put the dead aunt on top. I did get the wheels all tucked under and it's running okay. The DR1 Jungle Jim is running the best it ever has since putting in the new crown gear. I'm considering another I/S, a Tyco, it's running real good but I'm not sure about the ohmage, gotta check that yet. As far as another 4G/SS, if I can get another one to break that 1 second barrier , I'll slap a body on it and get it entered too. I'll get on the list by the end of this week .

None of the tire gauges I have went up to .560" diameter so decided to make one. And then that turned into making some to send back with the entry's in the race. These are pretty close, couple thousands off maybe. Close enough that one should probably check with digital calipers if it's rubbin' when you use it. Now these aren't sanctioned or approved by NTRA or anything like that. Just meant to be a guide and helper when you're building.

My 2 cars for the SS 4G class are about as ready as they will be. Both are running decent and side by side. SS cars
