Got a little track time in for the motorcycles I will be running in the Match races. Tyco bike is now making consistent runs down the track. Not a whole lot can be done to it with the way it's built, but I did add a wheelie bar. Was able to make some solid baseline runs tonight @ 18v. Cool little bike.
Also had the Angry Jeff Racing bike out. Added a wheelie bar to it as well. I need at least another .01 out of it. That's going to be a tall order, but I will need that to get by the Eagle Racing bike.
I hope everybody is working hard on their cars. I think the competition is going to be tough across the board. Getting excited!! Does anybody have any tuning news to report?

** 4gear Stock 18v JJWallace .8850

Those are some blistering runs so it will be no easy task. Bear Creek Dragway and Angry Jeff Racing will put up a bonus prize for any track records broken during Class Eliminations...List Races...or Match Races! Maybe cash, parts,....?? I will think of something worthwhile. Track records are only recognized at Bear Creek Dragway during formal events and have to be backed up by + or - 1%.

. . . . . I hope everybody is working hard on their cars. I think the competition is going to be tough across the board. Getting excited!! Does anybody have any tuning news to report?Nothing new here, Jeff. I definitely plan to get things finalized on my entries this coming week and will let y'all know of any progress at the end of the week . The 2 - 4 gear stockers are pretty much ready, just need more tweekin'. One inline is ready to go, the other needs tore down and rebuilt plus a body paint. I have a back up if things don't go well . Hoping to get another tenth off of the 4GO but that's expecting a lot .

My Super stocks are running well but I don't want to put times up since I promised not to do that after the last race. They will be contenders, the Beretta is a match for the 55 Chevy so it will be interesting. My 4 gears can make it to the end of the track...

My cars are just about ready to go. I hope they will be competitive this time, especially the Jag now that the gear problem seems to be sorted . I will be sending them at the end of the week to allow plenty of time. Jeff, those times that you have posted will certainly take some beating but all we can do is try. Clive

Wow some fast times. I was interested how my cars performed at different tracks. So I went to the look back forum and could only find races up to 2017. Where is 2018 to today?

Vince past races are moved to "A look back" thread which is where you were at. Be sure and scroll all the way down the page. I typically do not move any of the past races till a year has gone by.

Thinking I'll send a pancake car with a Super II chassis, mean green arm and Dash compression molded magnets. It's only marginally faster than the car I sent to GTS. No where near as fast as Dave's cars. Sending for 2 reasons: 1. To match race 2. To give you a chance too examine the magnets for possible approval. Very cool! I will add you to the Match list. So it is basically a Pancake Comp build? What voltage do you want to run at? That is a race that will get picked up for sure. I look forward to seeing the car. Bill here is your competition for the match race. It is also a white 57 Vette Comp car, it is named Willy Nilly. Pretty much because it runs like that. It is no match for the top PSO car or the 55 that won the last race but it is still a good runner so don't hold anything back. Match race 57 Vette

The "Troublemaker" is a little leaner and seems to be runnin' a little meaner. Gearing up fer the match race with the "Top Cat" and another shot at the 4gear sharkpool.

The contingent from England left today. I am sure that everyone taking part are looking forward to a great weekend racing at Bear Creek. The motorcycle and match races should be fun. Good luck gibbo61 with Troublemaker, the cat has its claws out already, it scratched me while I was putting it in the box . Clive

The Troublemaker has been added to the 4GO Shark Pool. You are currently the only car in either of the Shark Pools and it looks like there will probably be some no shows. So you might be able to slide into an open spot and Call Out ahead. Good luck!

Just wanted to mention those Dash magnets that ECBill mentioned. I bought some of them and found no difference between them and the old Dash magnets except for the paint stripe. Read very similar on the gauss meter, in the 7-900 range so I would certainly allow them in any class at my race.

We have reached the 3 week mark before the race. The race is approaching quickly, but there is still plenty of time to get cars built if you are not already in the race. I have updated the Sign up page to include the current Outlaw List standings and Shark Pools. We currently only have one car in the Four Gear Outlaw Shark Pool. Both List cars are Pancake Comp builds. Is there anybody out there besides Gibbo61 that wants to try to make it on one or both Lists? Let's get'em built and on their way to North Texas. It's going to be a great event so don't miss it!!
