Hi all. I am new to this forum, but not new to drag racing. I have a question concerning the rules. It says all production chassis are legal for stock and super stock. Does this include Viper and Wizzard? Also is the 21 gram min wt. in effect. Thank You , Michael Mercer Welcome to the site dynomike. Viper and Wizzard chassis are allowed for this race in the stock and the Super stock class, rules like this are generally left up to the race master. The 21 gram minimum is also a guideline at my event. As long as you have a full plastic or resin body, (no lexan), that has not been ground down and lightened I do not worry about the weight. I can always add some poster putty if things are to far off. Dave

That would be great Mike. You can easily change wording in a post by hitting the edit tab at the upper right corner of the post. I use it all the time. Is the picture of the car under your name one you raced or still own?

The mustang was raced by my son from 1990 through 2013 in IHRA and NHRA stock elim and also super stock. He still owns the car, but is now a happy camper with a really slow pontoon boat. I own two stock elim cars myself, a 91 cougar and a 86 lynx, but I haven't run since 2010. I also raced on road rc 1/12 from 1980 until about two years ago.

Very nice. I also raced RC off and on road 1/10 from about 85-91 with my 2 sons. I have had many drag cars over the years. The fastest being the Beretta pictured. It had a alum 632 with 3 N2O stages. Could not hook it up very well, best of 4.70 153 in the 1/8th on one 250 shot pedaling it.

The team from Norfolk England have loaded the cars ready for the long trip to Knoxville. I have also included some gifts for giveaways to the other racers, some diecast cars that may become resin racers .

My cars left Brighton, England yesterday afternoon. Mazda's have a few hours head start - so the race is on to get over the Atlantic and to Tennessee!
