Super Glade to see Clive’s cars finally arrived😃 That would have been a huge loss. Some really nice cars and a lot of hard work.

Clive's cars arrived!!!! here are a bunch of Hornby Scalextric cars he donated. let me know if anyone wants any. PM me I'll run his cars a little later to get times and then everything is getting sent back to UK. . Notice who is on the far left, in the photos? That must be Christine's twin cousin form Britain. Wonder if she caused the problems or Christine was trying to keep her away? |

The UK cars have arrived back!! A big thank you to Al for hosting - and especially for sorting out the logistics of the return box - to everyone who donated prizes, to Dave for the awesome JAG cars and to Al, Dave, Hank and Bill who have sent entries for our UK races on the Rock County Raceway. Sadly, those cars didn't make it in time for the race last week, but they are ready for action at the two September races that conclude our Summer Series. They will get some testing & tweaking time too.

on that note, Hank and I have elected to have our cars remain in UK through the end of their current racing series/season.
if anyone else wants theirs to remain there too, let Andy or Clive know.
we can also get combined shipping back to us to one guy (me?) and then redistribute here.
judging by the times I saw those guys running in the least race, I am going to be dead last!!!

Yes! The firm plan is to run another 5-race series with one race a month from November to March - might call it the "Winter Series"... We will be expanding the classes a little to include 4-Gear racing in a formal qualifying and elimination format (using stock rules + braids). And we will be tweaking the Micro Scalextric Super Stock class to make it faster. More details soon - it's all still taking shape in my mind.

Thanks for all the goodies guys. I have spoken to Andy and some of the goodies will be distributed among the winners from the race. My cars will be back here by the end of the week from Brighton. I am sorry that the American cars did not arrive in time for the race but I am sure Andy will do his best to get them tested and ready for the next two races in September.
If any of you guys need any spares for the Micro Scalextric (Hornby) cars please let me know and I can get them over to Jeff with our cars for the Bear Creek race.
