Congratulations to Dave and Rick for your winning performances.
Lots of goodies for race sponsors, makes it exciting to open the packages when they come home! Come on, admit it we're all just a bunch of big kids.
Final thanks to all of the participants. Its been a pleasure racing with you. Lets do it again!

greatest procrastinator judged by latest postmark (not counting Hairy Canary's second package) is HAIRY CANARY RICK   in addition, Rick has requested that the jackets he would be awarded be forwarded to the second place cars in those pancake classes. a real class act , that Rick guy. Al I'm Honored and totally worthy of this award  You know you might have opened a can of worms ? Now every procrastinator and want to be procrastinator's will be gunning for this award. And nobody's cars will be making to the races on time  Rick You've got procrastinating down to a fine art! The rest of us are a bunch of amatures by comparison. |

Best In Show was totally unexpected! Thank you Al! And thank you guys for all of the congratulations and kind comments!
Its quite an honor, considering the quality of cars that show up at our events. Some of the very best customizers and painters in the hobby, are represented at Nitro Slots. It'll be nice to display those sharp looking trophies in the recently restored showcase in the race room.
Dave: The 57 Vette is one of my all time favorite cars too.
Jeff: The flames were not done with my masks. They were some that I bought a few years ago and were part of my inspiration to want to begin making them. Perhaps I could design something similar.
