guys, we need to show our support in the way of requesting and maybe pre-ordering wheels and gears.
there is a possibility that we can get some 15 tooth bronze gears for our pancake builds.
I am sending an Eric Hirt bronze gear, an aluminum (manufacturer unknown) gear and some original aurora crown gears so that precise measurements can be taken in order to get the product we want.
if anyone has specific measurements data that they prefer, please share it here and email Wizzard with those stats as well.
RC is getting ready to make sili-foam tires and we might convince him to make drag tires for us.
it seems that .500 (maybe .510) are the largest and .200 is the narrowest width he will consider.
we may be able to get increments of .470, .480, .490, .500 if there is enough interest/demand.
but, we all must contact Wizzard and express our desires for these products.
they are really busy making road race stuff and they are willing to try and fit drag race stuff in as well.
in addition to sharing your wants and desires with them, an indication of how many of each product will go a long way in determining if it is profitable for them.
the Lincolns are good people and want to help all sorts of racers, but at the same time they are running a business which needs to show profit in all that they undertake.
if we are to get them started on these (and maybe other products in future) now, we MUST express our interest and dedication in purchasing NOW.
everyone needs to participate in order to show our sincerity.
if you need direct contact info more than just the email I posted, PM me and I can send you the link for their site which has phone numbers as well as products.
I trust that all the determined folks here will get behind this and show that we are more than just talk.
without mentioning who ..... I want everyone to know there is someone in our midst's with more influence at WIZZARD and has the ears of those good Lincoln family folks who has been pushing for these items and has expressed that we need to contact WIZZARD directly, each of us.
I can not say this enough times or with enough vigor.

Gale, I am still holding out hope that Eric Hirt starts making those gears again.
but, I am trying to get WIZZARD to produce them too since they already have a bronze gear provider.
we can support both sources I am sure

Is this where we contact them Al? info@wizzardho.com yes and/or the phone number that was posted. I would prefer, and I think they would prefer emails. there are only a couple people there and they are busy all day. taking time to talk on the phone is not in their best interest. |

let me add something .....
I, in no way, want to take business away from Robert (Eagle Racing) as far as tires/wheels go.
I want to encourage others to make these products available so that no one person is overwhelmed with requests.
please continue to support the Nitro guys every way you (ME) can so that we keep their interest alive too.

Is there a possibility that we can get some 15 tooth bronze gears for our highly modified pancake builds. Or something in the 16-19 tooth range.
Also interested in sili-foam drag tires for us at Nitro Slots where we run HO drag cars of all kinds. We would be interested in increments of .470, .480, .490, .500 .510

Sent Wizzard a email for gears, tires and anything drag related. After I placed a order for $130 đ They wonât put the two together but I needed my monthly fixđ I canât see this taking away from the guys here at Nitro Slots like Eagle. He has a good product that holds his own and he offers the stuff that nobody else offers. Hope others join in and sends there wants to Wizzard.

Lucky Bob will soon have sili coated tires available before the October race in the size .500 only.
Check LB web site for Email address. He said if you place an order he will LYK when they are ready. You can call in your order also.

I ordered 5 pair of Wizzard and five pair from Lucky Bob.
I figure that will be enough for the October race and Dave has a race coming that I hope the 2.5 car s will be run.
For some of you that might seem like a lot, while others might feel its a small order. Right now that is all I can do. My son is having Health issues and I myself have need to take care of something health wise. Best I can do right now.
If I remember we had twelve or so racers at the last race sending in two cars each for the most part . If we all placed our orders for just those cars it would be 44 pairs. If we add tires for testing and future needs we could double that amount. Things are tight right now and I understand.
Wizzard for the time being will make what we order to help us have a supply. The thought being they would also like feed back to help them
#1 get an idea of amount to make
#2 Not make to many as to make changes in future production to better suite our needs. Such as rim size, rubber compound and coating and width.
Lucky Bob will do the same.
Just to second what Al said, it will go a long way in allowing these suppliers to gauge our wants and needs. Im not selling tires for them, I get nothing from this but the feeling I am helping my fellow races and the hope the next time I order, the tires are there without waiting for a ridiculous amount of time.
So please, now is time for us to work together.
If you haven't done so yet , please do not wait. You won't be charged until you order can be filled. The gears for your 4 Gears are different and Al will keep us up to date what needs to be done if you think its something that is wanted. Go back and read Al's post for that info.
