Hey Sam, Yeah my driver Lee is known to disappear, usually around a strip club. Probably proposed to one of the girls.

Bill are you changing the pictures in any way before you post them? I've noticed if you shrink the picture to just have what you want to show it does that to me. If I post the original it goes through no problem I haven’t used any photo hosting sites since photobucket put the screws to everyone. Most of the pics I tried were not cropped but I did try cropping one. Normally photo need to be reduced to large, since actual size is usually too big. Today I even tried med and small.

Bluesguy it seems the cars do have a mind of their own and are probably hiding somewhere in the mountains of Tennessee. The weather has turned colder so they will probably go home now. The mail has really gone down hill lately. Used to be we rarely had a problem. I have had packages go completely in the wrong direction before returning to where they belong.

It sure does seem that the postal system has gone down hill fast. It a shame that poor service has become accepted and expected. In the past my packages to Knoxville would get there in one day. This time it took nearly a week. Most of it spent sitting in the Greenville distribution center. It seems like my package to England got there faster than the cars return trip from Smoky Mountain.

I got a call today from Postmaster at my local PO, He said the container with my package is still in TN. May be quarentined, he said. At least they're aware? of the situation. I did like Al suggested and contacted the USPS on line and initiated a search for my package. Thanks for the info Al! Dave, you may be right, the cars are enjoying the TN weather. I figure they'll get here eventually. But like I said last night, it's my driver Lee. By now he probably knocked up his new stripper girl friend.

Hey Al, thanks for the reply. I'll try the contact us method. I have an account with usps for informed delivery. Yes the cars were insured They will show up.....even with the issues these days. I've said this before but I've run many races in the last ten years here and I have never had cars lost. There have been less than a handful that were really late, but they always showed up. I agree with Al to go ahead and do whatever you need to with USPS.

I just took the graveyard aw charger out of the pkg. Its the one I won in the predict the et challenge. Did not even take the body off only adrop of lube on the rear axle and arm shaft. Ran it slow fo about 30 seconds. I have 3 other aw tjets which i have attempted to make quicker with matched mags and different brushes, etc. The charger is faster than all 3 of my other tjets. It has a light brown chassis, which i have not seen before. I plan to take it apart and check the magnets and arm and brushes. I should probably leave it alone, but thats not going to happen.

Woo Hoo,, my cars finally made it home!!!!! Spider-man and Iron Man stowed away in the transporter along with a nice '33 Willys Coupe body for 4 gear. Thanks for the goodies. Looking forward to the next event. Dynomike, the brown chassis is to simulate a rusty frame and undercarriage. I would drop some Dash Killer Bee motor mags (black/yellow in it and consider a Dash arm also.

I don't think any of us learn to leave well enough alone. I have slowed more of them than I have speeded up. Bluesguy glad they finally arrived, took the Alaska route or stopped off for some Tennessee shine.
