I have a question. I was wondering if the Wiz-Jet (Wizzard's version of the T-Jet) was legal in the Gasser class ? I haven't started building or tuning yet but if I had the time and they was legal I was thinking about trying one ? Thanks Rick I would like to refer this to the admin's, Rick. What ever decision they make should be acceptable for the upcoming race, IMO. For the upcoming race, I'm trying to stick to the NTRA rulings as much as possible, concerning chassis and mods. I'm sure I'll be making lenient decisions on the body rules where it shouldn't effect performance.
I'm hoping that they do approve the "Wiz-Jet" but will be going with their decision.
Thanks, Gale

I do not see any problem with using the Dash or Wiz jet chassis as they seem to be exact copies of the original. I think the Dash chassis has a different ohm rating, 4 ohms??, on its armature so I would check that if you are using one of them.

I agree with Dave. Gasser is Pancake Comp and there is no problem with running those chassis in that class. As long as all of the other specifications are met.

Some that I am aware of include: 16, 14, 10 and a 4 lam that Dash calls 5 ohm but every one seen so far have been in the 3.7 to 4 ohm range. There may also be a 2 or 3 lam “5” ohm and a 17+. Always a good idea to take an ohm meter to the arm. You know what they say about assuming. Wish that they were color coded.

A quick project for one of my Gasser entries. I acquired this body from one of our gracious sponsors. No paint other than details. I will add some decals, exhaust, motor, grill and shoot some clear on it. It will sit on my red Nova chassis that I have run for several seasons. That body was getting beat up. I think this little Henry J budget build is going to look pretty cool.

Hopefully Hey Sam, you'll be pleased with the wizzard electrical stampings. Perfect fit, excellent quality. I've used them on Aurora and Dash chassis. I've built a couple wizz-jets, it's an awesome chassis.

Mike and Dave's cars are patiently waiting to get opened up . Kinda reminds me of Christmas when I was a little fella . They and other arrivals will be getting opened this coming weekend and I'll be posting pix and starting on the "Best in Show" videos for the event. These next 2 weeks are gonna zoom by for me and then that last 3 or 4 days before it starts seems to crawl by. I get anxious and it just can't start soon enough ! Enjoy your building & tuning . . . . and . . . . we'll see ya at the races!

I see Mike sent his Vault. I think he did that to penalize the Post office, sure keeps the cars safe. He will send you the combination when it is needed.

Well, it looks like its time to send the bazooka crew on a mission, since they're not going to GTS. Thinking of sending them to extract a shipment from Jag's with some new WizJet chassis', tools and assorted parts, that's been held hostage by the postage system, in Akron, OH since Dec. 21.
Perhaps Sam's man might like to participate.
