An Intro . . . .
Okay, Qualifications are all done. Because of the time element, I'm only posting the 4 gear times for now.
One car I could not get to qualify, would not stay in the slot. Tried everything I could, oil on the tires, 7 grams of putty on the hood, etc.. Wasn't gonna happen. Sorry finistauri, I tried and tried  . That '59 had lotsa wanna GO!
Will be putting the "brackets" together and then we can get to some racing! Thanks for your patience.

Great intro video! Reminds me of the good ole days at Blacktop when Eagle would do the intro videos like that. I'm excited for the race. There are once again a LOT of super looking builds that showed up. Good luck to everybody!

Congratulations Jeff for going low in 4G SS. Gale your video was way cool. Sounded like a real pit with the car warming up in the back ground. Nice Job !!

Ever notice how seconds turn into minutes when you're uploading photos?  Here's the results of Round 1 in the 4Gear Super Stock.
First race of the day was a doozy! I saw Dave's crew with the hood up all day, I just figured they were checkin' the oil  . They musta been doin' sumpthin' besides that. Dave's Summit Camaro tore it up with a 1.044, which sends Kstocks Mustang on to the trailer with a 1.254.
Nosubfor 3 takes a slow run at 1.221 but takes it from comet doing a 2.684
Even though the Impala couldn't get a QT, nosub makes a fast run with a 1.087 to improve over his QT.
Mike's Chevy did do it's best though, of the meet. I think with a wheelie bar, this car is headed for the top.
Kstocks makes a slow pass this time with a 1.347 against Woodcote's 1.717. The Grand Am is having an enormous amount of wheel spin off the line.
Pink Floyd advances with a 1.203, same as his QT. Chris improves a little with a 1.533
Close race here, lotta fun to watch! Top Cat does a 1.246 vs dynomike's 1.265
I think these two came on the same trailer but Skillet shows no mercy with a 1.135 vs comet's 1.641
Skillet pulls another win with a 1.598 vs Bluesguy's 1.808. Both way under their qualifying times.
The Blue Max betters it's QT with a 1.173 verses chris's  suburban with a 1.688
Round 2 coming up.

The event is going great Gale. Back and forth between the car show and race is awesome. I know your not finished but thank you for all the time your putting in this.

4 Gear Super Stock Round 2 Interesting race! The Summit Camaro leaps out of the hole with the C10 in hot pursuit. They look neck and neck from my viewpoint, all the way down the track.
This picture tells the whole story. An exciting race!
I wonder if these two know each other . The Ford takes the Vette 1.053 vs 1.121
The Shark easily takes this one with a 1.022 and the Mustang falters with a 1.419
The Flying Dutchman goes into the 9's with a .984. The really consistent Pink Floyd slows to a 1.242 on this run.
The Hairy Canary Cuda grabs a low ET of .932 while the Top Cat made an improved run of 1.228
The Ford pulling a 1.121 can't hold off the power of the Mopar that does 1.003. Can Gnome bust a 9 next round?
The '57 Chevy improves a little from last run with a 1.557 but no match for the blue Chevy PU going into the 9's with a .955
The Vega sends the Mustang to the trailer with a 1.021 vs a 1.119
Round 3 comin' up!

4 Gear Super Stock Round 3
This looks like classic Ford vs Chevy here . The Ford leaps out of the hole making it to the 60' mark first but the Chevy jumped ahead shortly after that. The Chevy wins with a .961 vs a 1.015
The Shark takes off in it's usual fashion while the Flying Dutchman jumps out of the slot at the start, then back in, then out, then in, then out for good just before the 330' marker. Way too weird. The Shark takes it with a 1.034
These two Mopars are gonna go for it. They take off together at the green. Rick keeps it on the ground to get another low ET of .931 verses gnome's 1.017
A couple of really pretty Chevy's here! The blue PU is going into this with some better times but we'll see . . . . . . The blue Chevy PU takes it with a .963 versus the Vega's 1.033
I think we're gonna make it guys
Round 4, the Semi-Finals, coming up!
