It took me about 40 years before I was able to duplicate her sauce recipe. Slow learner I guess. Glad you are able to join us with our hobby/racing. Your support is welcome and you are progressing quickly. We are breaking some new ground with the Unlimited 4G and Inline classes which you like. The pure stock class at my race will also be a first.

For the kiwi, what wheel/tire combo is a good starting point. Dia & Width. The stock wheels seem to be slighty out of round. Thanks

I stick mine in a drill and axle and turn them on sand paper Mike. I think Dave uses a blade. Tires I used viper 4gear. Then masking tape around rim until you find what your looking for.

There are a few other options out there. Also I use a combination of different size Jel Claws or Super Tires stretched over the oversized 4 gear rim to achieve different diameters. Jag Hobbies DR-1 rims, Viper DR-1 rims, and stock 3 gear rims can all be used in place of the stock 4 gear. Wobble or out of round rims equals power robbing. IMHO.

You don't want a wobbly rear rim. I put the chassis in a vice, spin it at about 9 volts without the tires and use an exacto knife with a magnifier, so I can see it closely, to get rid of any wobble.

Dave when you use the exacto knife are you shaving the plastic off the rim? Does that work better than an emery board....better control with the knife?

Personal preference I think. I feel I can get rid of the high spots better with the knife. I try to use a light touch so I just catch the high spots. When I am done I usually see the silver coating removed in some places and not in others. Don't know if you can do that with an emery board. Never tried a comparison if you do let me know how it works out.
