That is an extremely fast 4G stock record Jeff. Yes it is but.......that car was a standout. Freakishly fast! I would say that a .9000ET wins any race 9 times out of 10. That car ran that number in a Match race at the 2019 Texas Nationals. I needed to back that up +/- 1% for it to be a record so I made an extra pass and it did with an .8706. But........it is not running those numbers now. Going to try to get it back just for the Kiwi's . Your Tjet Gasser record is equally as impressive. Both of those cars (Chevelle and Christine) at that race were standouts and both made faster passes than that posted record. They just did not back those runs up. The Chevelle actually made a .6520 pass during Eliminations. That is blistering!

****RACE UPDATE****
The Sign Up sheet has now been updated with the Kiwi Racers. There are currently 9 with the potential for possibly a couple more. That is awesome! Guys put your tuning hats on for this one because it will not be easy. Kiwidave said the racers there are tuning and getting excited for the challenge at hand. Well......so am I!

Preparing cars now for the Winter Nationals. Getting an old terror out of moth balls for 3G comp. The old Rebel has still got some fire left in it. I tried putting poly magnets in the 57 Nomad but it killed off about 3 MPH in trap speed. Picked up some in the 60' so the ET was similar. Went back to the original Ceramic magnets. Gauss readings for the Ceramic were in the 900 range and gauss readings for the Polys were about double or 1800s. Super comp entries 3/21

Was running .57-.58s @ 26 MPH. It used to hit those ETs at 18v so it is a little slower than it used to be. The armature in the Nomad has been in there for the last 6 years, many 100s of runs on it and never been changed, amazing. The Vette has the poly magnets in it so it gets out of the hole quicker and the Nomad plays catch up as the Vette runs about 23 MPH.

When I get them back I can check them the way I have to do it and then I will have something I can compare to. I've looked for the gauss meters but they are either crazy expensive or not available. I use a digital scale with a metal deck and measure the pull of the magnet against the deck. All I need is a number for tuning purposes. But I have no idea what my numbers convert to in gauss measurement.

Sure Jeff, send me some magnets to check and I will send them back with their readings. The gauss meter I have was expensive at 175.00 and it is no longer available. Like it showed with my recent test to much magnetic force starts to kill performance. If I had ones that read about 13-1500 I think they would work well for 3G super comp 6 ohm. 18-1900 is to much but the ETs were similar.
