Look at me I'm number 3. Feels like I concord the world getting to 3 in 4go. Clive was right on me last meet up. I worked on that 4gear for a month straight trying to find some hidden speed to keep me at 3. Looks like I better do it again ha ha. Great job holding down top spots Dave. Don't worry I'm not in a hurry to catch you I'm extremely happy where I am at. It's not an easy task hitting top 5 on the list, let alone even getting on the list. Gnome, gnome look at me I'm 3. Lmaooooo. I wish I was at Gnomes place I'd drive him crazy saying that over and over the next few days. I'm in tears now just thinking about it. Vince next list race if the racemaster has time I'd like to grudge match our list 4G0 cars. I never got to race you and you were the main reason I worked so hard on that car I got. Thats a date. Unfortunately purple haze is no longer. I was stripping the paint and left it in the stripper to long and melted the body into a glob of gue. So I will be runnung a new body. See you at Daves in November.

Best in Show AwardAfter several days of deliberating on this a decision has been made. I always choose a group of customized cars and narrow it down. So many beautiful cars to choose from. But we can only have one.
And the winner is...........
Mazda aka Clive Mills "Knackered Nomad"
An awesome weathered patina custom.
Congratulations Clive!

Well that's a wrap for the event. Now comes my least favorite part of the whole thing.....the repacking of the cars and dividing of prizes. I will be working on that today and tomorrow. I will try to have everything in the mail by Thursday. I will also be working on getting some of the slow motion videos posted. I am still a novice at this so they may be nothing more than video with no sound. Let's see how that goes but they are still pretty cool to look at. Once again I want to thank EVERYONE for the good word and positive comments throughout the event! There were several new racers in the house for this event. Very good to have you guys in the mix and we look forward to seeing you back again in November! I also want to once again thank all of you who Sponsored the event........Finistauri Gibbo61SkilletJbaileyGTSCrazynskiCometAlpinkAngry Jeff RacingThank You!! Thank You!!

Thanks Jeff for the award. I called the car Knackered Nomad because the body was Knackered to start with. It takes quite a lot of work to make a body look as bad as this .

Congratulations Clive on getting the best appearing award. There is a rusty full size 57 Chevy wagon running around some of the tracks with a big blower motor in it.

Bill, probably not the meeting that you are thinking of as I know there is a rude meaning I am not sure how it translates over the pond but. In England it is a slang term for something completely worn out or broken .

In the southern part of the US, they might say boogered up, or stove up.

I think knicked is British slang for stolen.

Bonus Coverage
Here are some slow motion videos of the Tjet Super Stock, MMPS Finals and the 4G Unlimited Semis and Final. They are silent movies but still cool. I have added the sound effects and text before, but I have to relearn how to do it because I don't do it very often and unfortunately I don't have the time right now. Right after the fade in look to the right of the screen and you can catch the lights going yellow then green. Track barrier on the left of the screen was only pinned in between the grandstand and the track and kept getting shook loose. I ended up putting some two sided tape on it. I am sorry that I don't have time to present them properly with some text, etc. I also made videos of the List races for #1. I will get those posted as well.
Click on the screen to watch the video. In Flikr click full screen arrows in the upper right hand corner for best viewing.
Tjet Super Stock Final Comet LH drivers lane vs Mazda RH drivers lane Winner Comet
MMPS Final Dave632 RH drivers lane vs Alpink LH drivers lane The Corvette drives around the '55 and clips him at the line. Winner Alpink
4G Unlimited Semi 1 Gnome RH drivers lane vs Hairy Canary LH drivers lane Aztek dragster fails at the line. Hairy Canary in Final
4G Unlimited Semi Final 2 Hairy Canary RH drivers lane vs Gnome LH drivers lane Hairy Canary in Final
4G Unlimited Final Hairy Canary vs Hairy Canary Black '57 Belaire
