Congratulations to Comet and Mazda for those great qualifying times in T Jet SS. . Should make a fantastic final if they both get that far. AL the 49 MPH speed you ran in the Mountain Motor class is terrific, I thought my 40 MPH car was fast. If both cars make it that should also be a super final. ETs were only a few thousandths apart. I am pretty sure my 4GU will survive as I put stock magnets in them and they were only running in the 20 MPH range. The only chance I have there is opponent breakage. Jeff your track with the new power supplies seems to be performing very well. Dave I posted the MPH because of the big difference between #1 and #2 and yet they are only .0019 difference in ET. That's crazy! Yes I am very pleased with the power supplies! Thank you Alpink for the opportunity to purchase those! |

Tjet SS Round 1
Race 1 Crazynski vs Ecbill
The '59 Chevy gets the holeshot but the Challenger is the better car on this raceday and wins by 1 1/2 cars.
Crazy .9626et to .9841et.
Race 2 Alpink vs GTS
Both cars improve from Qualifying but the Rude Stude takes the win easily against GTS's Henry J.
Alpink .8261et to 1.3704et.
Race 3 Nosubfor 3 vs Mazda
The '33 Plymouth from England improves his time but it is not near enough to challenge the Camaro. Nosub will put Mazda on the trailer.
Nosub .8437et to 1.9808et.
Race 4 WBJ vs Gibbo61
This was another one sided race as the Camaro leads at every interval to turn on the win light. Gibbo's crew thrashed lastnight to make some motor repairs and had the Falcon running pretty well, but it is not to be.
WBJ .8223et to 1.0998et.
Race 5 Dave632 vs Gibbo61
The Pinto is out first but it is short lived. The Vette drives by and shows Gibbo his bumper. Both cars slowed from Qualifying.
Dave632 moves on .9344et to 1.1384et.
Race 6 Dave632 vs Zooloo363
The Camaro is just too strong for the Belaire today and will move on to Round 2. Zooloo made a good showing in his first race at Bear Creek but is headed for the trailer.
Dave632 .8725et to 1.1429et.
Race 7 Nosubfor3 vs Gnome
Great race! After some rear end repairs early this morning, the Willys wanted it bad. But the Camaro just wanted it more and runs the better ET to take the win.

Tjet SS Round 1 (continued)
Race 8 Jbailey vs Jbailey
Team cars battling it out. I hate it when that happens. The blue Belaire is the better team car today and moves ahead to the 2nd Round.

Race 9 Pete vs Alpink
Alpink's Vega slows way down from Qualifying and gives up the win. The Mustang runs it's number and easily finishes first.
Pete .9023et to 1.5004et.
Race 10 Skillet vs Finistauri
Based on the times, this looks pretty one sided. But it gets worse.....the Nova tires shakes at the hit and deslots. Skillet's Mustang makes a solid pass and turns on the win light.
.8458et to deslot.
Race 11 Gnome vs Kstocks
This might be a good race on paper. But this is racing and we have another car that goes into tire shake and deslots at the 60' marker. It's over that quick. The Thunderbolt improves for the win. (drone shot)
Gnome .9441et to deslot.
Race 12 Crazynski vs Ecbill
This is the second matchup for these two. Crazy took the first one....will Ecbill have something to say about that? The Willys Panel improves a bunch but has trouble hooking up and let's the Charger get out on him. Crazynski sends both of Ecbill's cars packing. That's just........Crazy!

Race 13 Hairy Canary vs Comet
This went about the way we thought it would. Comet's GTO is struggling and Hairy Canary's GTO isn't. HC wins easily.
.8373et to 2.4740et.
That is it for Round 1. All of the cars in the top of the ladder move on.

I see my mustang slowed down some... I named it Gnome after our very own Gnome...so on the next run gas is on the right Gnome lmaooooo.

Tjet Super Stock Round 2
Race 14 Comet vs Crazynski
Crazy's Challenger improves but that TQ Pontiac improves as well and flat blisters the track with the fastest ET of the day and takes the win. Comet is into the Quarter Finals.

Race 15 Alpink vs Nosubfor3
This was a good race. The Studebaker slows slightly and the Camaro picks it up. Nosub is running well today and puts Al on the trailer.

Race 16 WBJ vs Dave632
Dave's Vette is a little down on power from what we have seen in past races. He gets the holeshot but WBJ's Camaro makes it up by the 60' mark and keeps on pulling through the traps.
WBJ .8551et to .9328et.
Race 17 Dave632 vs Nosubfor3
This was another good race. The Z28 of Dave's leads past 60' but the black Camaro gets up on the tire and rolls past him (our new Bear Creek drone view ).
Nosub .8142et to .8802et
Race 18 Mazda vs Jbailey
Going to be tough for JB to get around the #2 Qualifier but he's down for the challenge. The Willys Panel is pumping and blisters the track for the win. Mazda is looking for that black Pontiac of Comet's.

Race 19 Pete vs Skillet
Mustang on Mustang action. Skillet runs his pace and gets it done but Pete was right there if anything happened.
Skillet .8494et to .9014et.
Race 20 WBJ vs Gnome
The Thunderbolt gave it hell and picks it up a bunch, but WBJ's Camaro has been solid and consistent all day and lights that finish line bulb to go to the Quarter Finals.
WBJ .8129et to .9125et.
Race 21 Crazynski vs Hairy Canary
These two are tied together at the hit. The GTO puts a steady pull on the Charger through the traps. Crazynski had a good run but is going home.

Tjet Super Stock Quarter Finals Ladder
This is getting good! We have two racers that have both of their entries still in the hunt. One is a wiley Nitroslots Veteran and the other is new to the forum....a "newbie" if you will. He is far from a newbie though. 2 more of racers have been here before and the last 2 are outlanders. They are flying. We've had to hose down the track because they blistered it so bad. If they keep that up then it's a two car race. But anything can happen. This racing after all.
Now those other two......they are tight. Only a few thousandths between them. This going to be good.
I'm going to take a short break. Not trying to add to the suspense, but I need to get up and stretch. Starting to see cross eyed  . I will be back soon with the Quarter Final results.
