Customer service is DEAD! I ordered a couple of things from Slot Car Space Solutions 15 days ago. After threating them w/getting PayPal involved for my money back, after a week I get a "we have been on vacation". That's great! I have no problem w/that, but seriously no on vacation email? No notice on your website?
So he says he's getting out in the mail that evening. Next day I get notification that it shipped. No tracking number nothing.
A week has gone by and nothing.
If I had a customer that was already upset I think I would have spent a couple of bucks and done 2 day to try and make things right.
Probably won't be doing business w/that outfit again.
I hope I start a trend calling out flaky outfits.
Maybe start something to praise good behavior.
The folks at Carrera Slots are amazing!
And Daniel from Dragon Racing Systems.
And Frank the Racer from Supertires. (Just had heart surgery in recovery, wish him well)
These guys have been great in answering questions!

I feel your pain. Thank you for the heads up about "Slot Car Space Solutions".
I can only speak from my limited experience.
A few good 1/32 suppliers - Professor Motor, Electric Dreams, Pendle Slots, RS Slots UK, Carrera Slots.
A few good HO suppliers - Dash Motorsports, Jag Hobbies, Lucky Bob's, SlotsNStuff, Slot Car Central, Wizzard High Performance, MEV Originals, FrankTheRacer, Auto World store direct.

I never order from any site that has no good contact us page. Better have a phone number and address. BEWARE a lot of fake sites out there cloning product images and info from real sites. Furthermore I would not buy anything on facebook. All the other dealers "Crazy" mentioned are good, I can vouge for the 1/32 ones at least. Also a reminder most of these "businesses" are not a real business. Just a guy with a site trying to make a few bucks, kind of the nature of the beast for us slot car basement dwellers. :} And even the more successful ones are a small cottage industry to boot. Thanks for the tip, now, im going to go look at the HO sites Crazy listed because they are hard to find as well. google=no help for small guys  |

Good place for nos tycos is clearview hobby. Don't think they have a web site but I think he's on Facebook. Guys name is Wayne and he's awesome

All that being said, it is my humble opinion that we not bad mouth suppliers on this forum. If you have a bad experience, cross them off your list and move on. We have become a very impatient society, myself included. Checking the tracking number several times a day. Those of us who are seasoned procrastinators (I fit the description)are even worse. My mama always said to me "patience is a virtue".

People selling ammo and never shipping, using pictures from legit websites. It saved a lot of people a lot of money. I do not want anybody to get ripped off. If I get scammed I want that company's or individuals name on a 50ft flashing billboard to warn others to stay away. I am old school, I believe in holding people accountable, good and bad. I love all these posts of good vendors I did not know about. I will be checking w/those guys first. |

I was going to mention a few bad suppliers, and chose to list the good suppliers instead. Bad advertising is still advertising none the less. Someone might check out the site to see what I was talking about. I'm not going to give the bad guys more free advertising.  Cheers, Ken |
