Looks like WBJ was on the right track with the fray car being slower. I was thinking like the rest of the gang thinking the fray was going to be faster.

Not enough traction. The Mustangs power is going up in smoke!

Welcome back to random racing and expermentation... Tonight's random race is parking lot drags. We got two road course similar builds although one has some jacked up tires on it... General wizz vs slottech the kid. 2.7 builds similar magnets no shunt or braid. Experimentation was the video to go with it. These take for ever way to hard to do for a race. My hats off to Gale to his videos.

The lack of traction will have a pretty significant effect on the ET and even MPH in any tests I have made. Thanks for sharing.

Random racing and experimentation. Such a fun little thread here. Dont be afraid to share... What we have tonight is testing of lane win lights that are pre programed in the drag race coordinator software.easy to work with. For the hardware i smashed a flashlight and stole the bulbs out. The light bulb housing is just some clear containers painted to lane color and screwed to some wood. Then just strung some rail locking wire i had left over from the track for power. Sounds easy enough but it took a little time. Heres a view from the drivers station lets grab some cars. For tonights test will use a couple tyco 440x2. Line 'em up. red lane takes it and lets see if the red win light is on. sure is

Ok lets switch lanes. Im gussing the cars will run about the same so we should set off the yellow lane light next. Line 'em up yes, yellow lane takes it. and lets check the light. SUCSESS! Well thats a horse of another color. Thanks for joining us on Random racing and experimentation. Until next time...

Tonight we are back at random racing and expermentation! We got a racer looking for some action. Looks like some random racing ... To mix it up a little we are running one race at 1/8 mile then stretch it out to our favorite 1000ft in the next run. In comes 68olds442 in the wonder wagon. He's ready and looking to race any and everything. We're going to let him get some Cajun Cuda... they are staged with the skeleton 1/8 mile marker in play. the light drops.wonder wagon is out in front WonderWagon takes the 1/8

Mmmm i have 1/8th mile, 1000 ft and 1/4 mile finish sensors tho we only really use 1/4 mile, 1000 ft is good for testing for the upcoming challenge tho.
