I don't want to hijack the race thread but I thought this would be as good a place as any to announce this especially since Sam is running 4g Stock and I need to reply to the Kiwi's.
I have been contacted by Kiwidave and the Kiwi racers have issued a 4g Stock Kiwi Challenge to the Nitroslots racers. They are feeling bold seeing as how they are holding the trophy and are issuing the challenge. We should be challenging them. Kiwi Challenge #6 would go down in September at the Texas Nationals. I figure we need 10 fast cars. Nitroslots has never held the trophy....but we have been close until the last meeting. We got spanked bad.....
Are we accepting the challenge? what size rear tires? NTRA rules are max size at .560. I will nail all of that down before the race but it will not be smaller than that. They also run at 18v not 20v. |

We definitely need to make a better showing than last time. Seems like the Nitro Slots 4G cars were running better at Jeff’s last race. Despite being quick in practice my Kiwi Challenger fell flat in both races. It’s likely going to get a new chassis, prior to Summer Slam. |

Welcome to Summer Slam Adam. Will you be mailing your cars or bringing them over? I got an extra chair over here if you want to watch some of the race.

A couple racers may be in the neighborhood for the race. I have no problem with anyone stopping by to see the race. If you are going to stop over I strongly suggest bringing something with you, a car to work on maybe? I say this because it can get boring fast for a spectator. Poor Cricket came to help me last year and we found out there's not really much a person can help with. Also if coming for the race, the cars you are racing will be qualified and placed for the race at arrival. There is no test n tune on the track. That would be an advantage over a racer that can't be here. As long as you are good with that come on over. 3 racers so far may stop over so to those three racers this is not a personal message. It is for anyone who could possibly make it.

Hot out of the mail box...I got to say it's beautiful. This is how this is going down. I am not in the running for the trophy. The house (me) will be racing the event as a blocker. When the motor cycle race is over, the house will drop to the bottom of the list and then that will be the standings of the race. This way I still feel ok with myself running in the race. Thanks for your understanding.    |
