Just make sure you all look at that video it took 2 days to make. Give it a like if your finger can make it to the button. Sure feels good after spending all the time on it lol.
Big Ken, Clive was wanting in the Kiwi challenge. He didn't know wich side he was getting booted on, I figured I'd make a joke and say I'm with Clive were taking you and will be the 3rd party posse.

I was wondering why all of a sudden the stock rules are being discussed about what's allowed or not, the current rules clearly state no restrictions on gears/axles so it shouldn't matter what the Kiwi or anyone runs, the only thing that should be in question is the rear tire height which doesn't automatically mean your car will go quicker, maybe more mph, but not necessarily better E.T, that's extra rotating mass a stock car has to turn, but if you know how to set the car up you could gain an advantage with taller tires in e.t/mph.
My first Kiwi challenge car was slow and got beat by their fastest car so after that race I took it to heart and put in the time to get my car lined out and setup correctly so that the same thing doesn't happen again, if taller tires are allowed for sure I may go back and make the change and step mine up some more if there's something to gain from taller tires. Just my 2c

Sorry all this Kiwi challenge stuff is in your thread Sam. PM or start another thread don't hijack others threads!! Don't make the Kiwi Challenge into a drama please. I agree....no drama. Here is the link to the 2022 Texas Nationals and Kiwi Challenge. That is where any information will be posted.

Just my 2c We have always run the KC using the NTRA Stock 4g rules. I posted incorrectly earlier. You are correct. Just give me a little time and I will get everything posted on the proper thread.

if I am wrong about tire diameter for the Kiwi cars, then I humbly apologize. I understand that HairyCanary, JJWallace and Dave632 all had very fast times at last years Kiwi challenge. it has been brought to my attention that some Americans might have even been running .490 tires on AFX (not 4-gear) rims. I am confused because I was under the impression that some of the rules run in New Zealand are a little different than the posted 4-gear NitroSlots rules. again, if I imagined that, I apologize. it may seem like I am all about drama, I prefer to think that I am trying to prevent that.
let me share one more thing. in my life, I have been outspoken, outgoing and sometimes brash! many times I have been part of conversations behind the scenes so to speak and I have then spoken my piece. the vast majority of the times that I have spoken out, others that had been involved in those conversations never voiced their opinions outside of the "back rooms"!
again, if I am wrong, I apologize.

Al you and I have already discussed this but maybe I can clear it up for you and anyone else. I'm not sure what the purpose of your posts are. The Kiwi Challenge has always been run using the Stock 4g NTRA rules. The Kiwis do have their own rules that they run in NZ, but they are basically the same as our rules. The first two meetings were run using the N/FC rules that at that time were just for the 4g chassis. KC #3,#4, and #5 have all been run using the current Pancake Stock rules (in this case 4g). They may differ slightly from what the Kiwi's are running, but nonetheless that is what we have run with no prior issues. The last KC meeting in 2021 I failed to mention a larger tire would be allowed. That is on me. Some of the Kiwis might run a bigger tire......I did not and do not have a problem with that. As I said before.......we got spanked. I really don't believe it was due to tire size. Whatever....that was last year. The race has been and will be the same as it always has been. Everybody gets all twisted up over the rules. We are 2 months out guys. Even if I did change something, it's not like the race is a week away. But before anyone freaks out.........NOTHING is changing from however I have run it in the past with the exception of tire size.
