Match 10 Kiwidave Blackbird vs JJWallace Twisted Texan Pinto
Race 1 Kiwidave gets the holeshot and makes a solid sub 1.00 pass but the Pinto is running on mean today and blisters the track to take win number one .8631et to .9881et.
Race 2 The Blackbird is getting faster but it's not enough today and JJ will take the win and the match .8563et to .9804et.

Match 11 Kiwidave Con Man Mustang vs Pennywize619 Vega
Race 1 Kiwidave has a better 60' but the Vega takes the lead after that and holds on to turn on the win light. Pennywize wins race 1 .9329et to .9905et.
Race 2 This race was closer than the times reflect. Kiwdave runs strong but the Vega is the quicker car today. Pennywize wins race 2 and the match .9403et to .9851et.

Match 12 Impala Po Pennzoil Funny Car vs Gnome Rolls Royce black
Race 1 The cars are closely matched to about half track and that's when the Rolls gets up on that big tire and pulls away. Gnome wins the first .9002et to 1.0003et.
Race 2 Same thing in race 2. The Rolls Royce has more top end pull than the Pennzoil car and will win the match in two .9260et to 1.0089et.

Match 13 Alan W. Mongoose Duster vs Carla60 Navy '57 Chevy
Race 1 Carla gets the holeshot then Alan takes the lead back and holds it till the speed trap where Carla goes back around to turn on the win light. Whew that was a lot in a short time. Carla wins race 1 1.0616et to 1.1164et.
Race 2 The '57 is starting to make some noise and slow. Alan takes this one from start to finish 1.0977et to 1.1279et.
Race 3 Alan is going to come back and win this match for N.Z. after losing the first race! Carla is having some mechanical issues with her car. The Mongoose takes the win and the match 1.1106et to 1.1402et.

Match 14 Impala Po Napa Funny Car vs Skillet Rolls Royce yellow
Race 1 The Napa car struggles to get down the track and gives this one to the Rolls. They are checking it in the pits between runs. Skillet is running well and will easily take the win .8972et to 1.4978et.
Race 2 They got the problem corrected with Impala Po's car but it is not near enough to beat the Rolls Royce today. Skillet blisters the pavement to take the win and the match .8709et to .9971et.
NZ 2 NS 12
Match 15 Ron Kingfish Cuda vs Pete Carfitti Mustang
Race 1 The lights change and the Cuda leaves first but the Ford is the faster car today and will cross the finish line first .9208et to 1.0202et.
Race 2 Pete lowers his number and Ron slows slightly. The Mustang will take the win and the final match of the Kiwi Challenge .8948et to 1.1194et.

Great show Jeff. BIG thank you to the NZ racers. The Nitro guys took this challenge very seriously and it paid off. I want to thank everyone for sharing set-ups and just a good time with all the late night discussions of the days testing.

Yesterday brought some good racing during the Kiwi Challenge. Nitroslots finally got the win and will retain the trophy! New Zealand came prepared and their cars were all set up to go fast. The Nitroslots racers were dominant this weekend, but these two teams will meet again sometime down the road and put it all on the line again. Thank you again to the New Zealand racers that send their cars and trust me to run and handle them. I know these are their #1 car so I don't take that responsibility lightly. Every single entry was a super clean and properly set up car. Good job guys! Congratulations Nitroslots!

Good morning racers and race fans. It is Day 4 of the 2022 NTRA Texas Nationals and we still have some unfinished business to get to. First order of the day will be to run the remaining 4 gear Stock in a field of 8 Shootout. I am still not sure what the prize will be, but I promise it will be worthwhile. Immediately following that will be the Outlaw Double header. 4 Rounds of Call Outs will be run at this meeting. We have 6....that's right 6 Shark Pool cars in both PSO and 4GO. That is pretty awesome! There are two open spots on each List. All cars in the Shark Pools will race each other and the top two will fill those open List spots. Once on the List they will be eligible to Call Out the spot above them at that time. They do not have to wait till the next Round. The remaining Shark Pool cars will have to wait for the next Round to try for the Lists again. I will take pictures of the first Shark Pool eliminations, but there will be random pics after that. That is too many pictures to take and post over and over. So let's get on with it. It is List moving day at Bear Creek Dragway!

4 Gear Stock Shootout Round 1 Eliminations
Race 1 Alpink vs Finistauri The cars leave together but the Camaro immediately starts to pull away from the truck and will move to Round 2. Memphis Belle does improve, but is down on horsepower today. 1.1026et to 1.5411.
Race 2 Kstocks vs Smokinvinnie Kstock's Grand Am improves from Qualifying and the JFR Mustang slows to give the win to Kstocks. He will meet Alpink in Round 2. 1.2968et to 1.4942et.
Race 3 Mazda vs Crossfire The Chevy Luv is running smooth but needs some more gear. It is winding out too soon. The Hearse is going to deslot just past the 60' and hand the win to Mazda. 1.2906et to deslot.
Race 4 Finistauri vs Comet The Top Fuel of Comet's is down on power this weekend and is struggling to make a smooth pass. The Beretta is also having hesitation issues but is still able to send Comet to the trailer and move ahead to the next round. 1.3046et to 1.8723et.

4 Gear Stock Shootout Semi Finals Eliminations.
Semi Final 1 Alpink vs Kstocks Both cars pick it up for this race with the Camaro edging out the Grand Am by a couple of car lengths. Alpink is in the Finals 1.0666et to 1.2276et.
Semi Final 2 Mazda vs Finistauri Mazda's Luv gets a huge holeshot when the Beretta hesitates. Finistauri somehow manages to reel him back in and turn on the win light! That was pretty amazing! 1.2266et to 1.2845et.

4 Gear Stock Shootout Final Alpink vs Finistauri.
Final Alpink vs Finistauri WOW!! Nobody could have predicted that outcome! Alpink's Camaro continues to improve with every pass, but Finistauri's Team got all of the bolts turned the right way on that pass because the Beretta woke up and runs a .9862et against Al's 1.0325et to snatch the win! Great job!
