2023 Halloween Race

Here we go with the right side of the ladder in round 1 of tjet gasser. The races have been ran now let's take a look. 1st pair sees Gnome in the ghost white Henry J versus Kstocks in the bad medicine Willys. The back up girls did a fine job on both cars and they are in the groove.

The light drops and its the Henry J out 1st. He carries that out to the 660'

Kstocks isn't giving up and trys to reel him back in. At the big end it's going to be Gnome in the pale Henry J.

The Henry J led at every interval and takes the W.

Next pair in the water box is RR Racin Rob in gives me the willie's next to him is JJwallace in the beast of the east Henry J. They are locked and loaded.

RR is 1st of the line and holds it to the 660. JJ isn't backing down and you can hear the blower whine as he tears down the track.

Top end and it's going to be RR in gives me the willies. He must have gave JJ the willies as he kept his distance.

The willys was to much for the Henry J today and takes the win.

Next pair is Finistauri in the black widow dragon willys and next to him is Kstocks in the warlock. Beautiful pair of willys here.

Kstocks takes the tree but he doesn't stay out long as fin comes around him by the 60' and stays there at half track.

The black widow dragon is pulling away from warlock and takes the win.

Seems like kstocks was down on power today. Perhaps he was bitten by a spider?

Next pair we have a battle of lil and big. skillet in lil c and JJwallace in big T. They bring them to the line.

Slight advantage goes to skillet at the hit and he keeps it out to half track.

To the top end will it be lil c or Big T? It's going to be lil c over Big T with medium P looking on.

I guess today lil won over big as lil c led from start to finish.

Last pair in round 1 brings up Crossfire in the flamed panel wagon and 68olds not in a 68olds but a Yanko camaro. They pull into the lights and are ready for a thrill ride.

Starting line advantage goes to Crossfire and he pulls away from the camaro at the 1/8th.

68olds is trying to catch the big old panel but he's going to run out of room and Crossfire takes it.

Crossfire was having none of the yanko today and runs away with it.

That does it for round one. Let's take a look at the ladder for round 2.

There will be some heavy hitters coming at you in round 2. Hold tight we will be right back with more smokey burnouts dry hops and BUGs.

We are back race fans with round 2 of tjet gasser. 1st race on the left side of the ladder sees your number 1 qualifier Dave632 in Grumpys Toy taking on the number 17 qualifier in Comet in the elco. Comet will be looking for the upset as they bring them to the line.

The lights drop and it's Dave632 out on it. He keeps his lead at the 660.

That big blowner in the elco is in overdrive trying to make up some time but just can't get it done as Dave632 leads from start to finish.

The Comet crew have picked it up every round running their best et of the event but came up short this round.

Next pair up is RR Racin Rob in the flaming willys his opponent will be pennywize619 in terminal velocity. They stage and wait on green.

RR gets the jump on the clown in the opposite lane but pennywize caught up by half track.

RR is charging hard to the finish but it's going to be the creepy clown taking this one.

Racin Rob was making steam and almost caught the belair

Next pair is Dave632 and Evil Christine and Pete in the mopar powered Road Runner. If you would have seen Christine last night you wouldn't believe it was the same car. It was smashed up pretty good. I'm not sure how the crew did it but it's race ready.

The road runner gets the jump as Christine has a .333 reaction time. Half what it normally is but she won't stay behind for long.

The road runner says meep meep as it trys to catch Christine but it's not in the cards and Dave632 takes the win.

Whatever the crew did to get this car ready it really worked.

The last race on this side is Pete in the sinister black Torino and Hairycanary in the blown hell corvette. Who doesn't like a blown vette? I don't know the person thats for sure. They stage them up and wait on the light.

Starting line advantage goes to Pete. The vette catches him at the 60 but Pete is back out front at half track.

These cars are trading spots all the way down the track! Who's going to be out front at the stripe? It's going to be Pete in the Torino.

It appears that the Torions tire ate through the fender and fixed its clearance issue. Maybe it got a tip from Christine?

That was the closest race so far this round! Next up the right side ladder. Stay tuned.

We've made it down to the quarter finals and these drivers should be proud. There has been tough competition all day. Let's take a look how this round played out. 1st pair is your number 1 qualifier in Dave632 and Grumpys Toy his opponent is pennywize619 and terminal velocity. The BUGs back them up and they are set.

Dave632 is first out of the hole and 1st to the 660'

That bug catcher on pennywize619s machine is sucking in bugs, air, little kids anything it can to try and catch up but it's going to be Dave632 with the win light.

Grumpys Toy had this race from start to finish and moves on.

Next pairing is once again Dave632 in Evil Christine versus Pete in the sinister black Torino. Burnouts complete and they are staged.

Christine gets the jump and is first to the 60' but here comes Pete in the Torino and takes the lead at the 660'

Running to the stripe these cars are back and forth its anybodys race at this point. It looks like Pete ran out of gear and Evil Christine takes the win.

What a race we had here. Neither driver wanted to pack it up but in the end it was Evil Christine with a .0020 win margin!.

Next pair up is Ecbill in Candy Corn and his opponent is Finistauri in Black widow dragon. These beauty's are staged and ready for war.

Advantage goes to Fin off the light but Candy Corn pulls out front at half track.

Ecbill is holding fin at his rear quarter panel and keeps him there to the stripe.

Ecbill and Candy Corn moves on.

Last pair again brings up Finistauri and Ecbill. These drivers have to be wore out. This time they will be in Draga Anua and Agent Orange. The drivers stage and wait in the green.

Ecbill in agent orange is out first and 1st to the 60' but Finistauri in Draga Anua pulls ahead at half track.

Ecbill is right there looking to take the lead at the finish but it's going to be Fin this time taking the win in Draga Anua.

These races are getting close and this one was no different.

It's semi finals time in tjet gasser! First round is going to be Dave632 against Daves632. I'm not sure how he's going to pull this off but I've heard Christine can drive herself so I guess Dave will be behind the wheel of grumpys toy.
The cars stage and wait on the light.

Starting line advantage goes to Grumpys Toy and he keeps it out there to half track but never count out Evil Christine.. she's evil after all.

Running down to the wire Christine is picking up steam but it's going to be Grumpys Toy taking the win.

Dave632 punched his ticket to the finals in Grumpys Toy.

Next pair up is Ecbill in the wild looking Candy Corn next to him sits Finistauri in Draga Auna. These 2 are not strangers as this is their 3rd race today. The back up girls did their job now its up to the drivers.

Fin takes the hit but Ecbill comes around him at the 60' and Fin takes the lead back at mid track.

This is anybodys race. They have swapped spots all the way down but there can be only 1 winner and it's Finistauri in Draga Auna.

Close racing is the best racing and this one did not disappoint.

That will bring up our final in tjet gasser and it will see Dave632 in Grumpys Toy taking on Finistauri in Draga Auna. Stay tuned you won't want to miss it!

Bill, I hate to say it, but I think the yellow Challenger body was a lot faster than Candy Corn, but making it to semi finales is still a good showing.
