BTW that was the first attempt to use the premix lacquer clear that you and Rick use. Mixed a little blue tint and pearl powder in with it.

It adds another element to the custom paint. Looks great Bill! How did you like the lacquer clear.....and the powder? I know you have said in the past that you didn't care for the lacquer stuff so much. It has been very forgiving for me. Any issue that I've had were coming from something else. Last question.....did you do the modifications to the Jeep? That Topolino is a beauty as well! One of several favorite HC bodies. I think I have one of those left in my stash as well .

Used an old Harbor Freight gun. Mix may be too thick for it or drying too quick. Using the powders is a learning experience! Seems like it may be good for masking minor imperfections. The engine and pipes were added to the Jeep. Front bumper and headlights removed. Otherwise stock.

But I am painting in my house and the fan gets all of the fumes out. To me, IMHO, the results are well worth it. Anyway....your stuff always looks great! Thanks for sharing the info.

Jeep started out to be black with candy blue flames. Flame mask pulled off some of the blue, blue so it was touched up with a brush. The blue tinted clear with pearl turned the black to dark blue and darkened the flames. Sometimes you accidentally get a nice paint job.
