ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS...GUESTS...WATCHERS...LURKERS!!
The 9th Annual 2023 NTRA Winter Nationals is right around the corner....40 days (counting today) away to be exact! If you've wanted to give proxy racing a shot, but just haven't entered a race yet, this is the event to get started in. All you need to do is build some cars to the NTRA rules specifications on Page 1 of this thread and mail them to my address that will be provided shortly and I will do the rest. It doesn't get any easier than that folks! Your cars are in good hands. If you have a concern about sending your cars to a stranger, trust me I understand. I have a track record (forgive the pun) that can be checked out by reviewing my past races. I have run or been a part of over 20 proxy events here at Nitroslots since 2013. Get signed up by posting in this thread and get those cars mailed. The Classes that I will be running are 4 Gear Super Comp and Inline Super Stock. See Page 1 for body details. 4g SC has not been run in awhile and we hardly ever see any dragster type bodies anymore so there you go....my reasoning for picking that Class. As for the Inline SS, that one is easy for everyone to be a part of and it keeps the Inlines in the mix for the Inline peeps out there. Other action will include the highly competitive NTRA Pro Street Outlaw and Four Gear Outlaw Lists. If you're not on one of the Lists, build a car and get in the Shark Pool for a chance to call out for the #10 spot. Those rules are also on Page 1. If you are new and do not understand something just ask the question and I or someone will have an answer. I am still considering if I want to do any Match racing or not. It kind of depends on the turnout. There are still several Bear Creek Dragway regulars that are not signed up. I hope all is well with everyone but I assure you, you will be missed. You guys and gals have become a part of the Bear Creek Family.
Come on don't miss out.....it's gonna be a blast!!

Just wanted to note JJ has the rear tire size right above the grids at the top of this thread. Real easy to find.
Inline ss .490 max. That means you CAN go lower you just can't go over. That is an overall height of rim and tire... if you buy a 490 tire and stick it on a big rim you will be well over .490.

Good news. Royal Mail have got things up and running with the international postage. My cars will be on the way in the next couple of days.  Let’s hope they don’t get stuck in customs. |
