Nice run but look at the other lane. Ran a 12.8, which would beat 99% of the cars on the road today, and only ran to the 60' or so mark then coasted the rest of the way.

Pretty new to these races. My questions may be stupid. But here goes. On this Halloween race are cars supposed to be Halloween themed? I see rules say original top plate gears only Also on T-jet Comp and PSO List I see any crown gears, but no mention of pinion gears. Are 14 tooth pinions allowed (good mesh with the crowns).

Hey Gramps, no it does not need to be themed.
Yes you can change the pinion on the crown drive.
Top plate for the chassis need to match, no mixing chassis top plate. You can change the gears but must match what was there. ie you can't change to plastic or lightened brass gears.

Drag Mates 🤔 thinking ahead Maybe Adam would do a pre race with 2 of his 6ohm Gassers and 2 of his 6ohm Inlines.
Would be nice to see the "Drag Board" with its ET'S And MPH'S.

Alright fin. You want to see a little test and tune session? Well here we go. 1st to the line is a few super stocks. At the line we have a couple of mean looking chevys. They are both staged and waiting for the light.  And they are off. The Corvette gets out 1st on the ol heavy chevy and stays there at the 1/8th.  Will the wagon have what it takes to catch the vette? Not today. The vette lead from start to finish on this one.  You can bet the wagon will be looking for a little revenge.  |

Up next to the line is a pair of tjet gassers. In the left lane we have terminal velocity and in the right we have the vanishing paint chevelle. They are staged and waiting for the light.  They are off and the chevelle spins hard at the hit.  Can the chevelle make up the lost ground? Not today. The bad start was all the impala needed to take the win.  Let's take a look at the time slip. As you can see it was the impala all the way.  |
