Congrats Dave! I suck at the guessing game, I always forget it's 1000', I'm use to racing a full 1/4

Thanks for the congrats. The Sun Dial hint was the secret to my guess??? Never even came close to winning one of these guessing games. I usually cannot guess my own cars times. Have to say the black 67 Camaro I sent in for this race ran almost identical on Sams track, compared to how it ran on my track. The 55 however slowed quite a bit. I still think these cars have a mind of their own. Look at how Pennywise's car ran such a great final. I have had the same thing happen in my races where cars picked up and made a great effort when needed. Thanks again Sam for a fun event.

Sun Dial, yup. Need to borrow mine? Fair warning, though, it doesn't work very well indoors, or at night. Ha! I had 2.85 first, but changed my mind to 2.75 before I posted. That's what I get for second guessing myself, lol.

Yes, the sun dial trick was the answer. I used it at night under a lamp, so I guess I was lucky...

My sun dial works at night. You just need to know where to hold the flashlight.
