I have been trying to build a new chassis for the old reliable 55 PSO. Did not think it would be so tough to be able to at least match the old dog's times. Using all the latest magnets, 5.5 arms, brushes etc. and I still can't match it. Guess that's why it was named Old reliable. That chassis has been running for almost 10 years now with all the same components except brushes. Managed to click off one 29 MPH pass with the new chassis, but the ET is elusive. Dave at least you can get yours to run the same and that's usually pretty good. I've become 4 Gear stupid  not that I was ever 4G smart but I can't get mine to go fast enough to send to a race. Cant get the cluster gear crown gear to live long enough to tune. Got some things I want to try but need to get my but in gear. |

Jeff, I am sending two T-jets and one 4 gear. Also sending The Judge for 4GO and hopefully something for PSO that can get out of the pool.
Rick, if I could get the 66 Nova Funny Car. that would be great!

**ATTENTION ATTENTION**
16 days till The NTRA 10th Annual Winter Nationals!
I would say that there is about a weeks worth of tuning time left before everyone should be thinking about getting their cars mailed.
Procrastinators beware.....I will be on a tight racing schedule and will have minimum time to work with. I always and will always give every opportunity for cars to get here and race, but please try to get everything here preferably by Wednesday April 3.
I will start running some "Guess the ET" runs in the next day or so. Giving away some AW rolling chassis. So stay tuned for that.

I sold any funny cars I had. Only had a few 4 gears left, had to send in some Pro stockers.

I sold any funny cars I had. Only had a few 4 gears left, had to send in some Pro stockers. I am working with another racer for similar issues. Do they still have the factory mounting tabs? They look like they do. If so, I have a couple of FC bodies. I am a little more flexible on the Gasser bodies because pretty much anything could be a Gasser but I would like to see FC or very close to FC bodies for the 4g. We will get everybody here and see what we've got. I'm not going to worry about it right now. |
