Like Adam, been spending too much time on the bodies. Wanted to show appreciation for 4 of our fantastic resin body casters, by doing up a body from each of them. OK Racers and Race Fans. I am back with the ET results. For Game #2 we were running a Mountain Motor Pro Stock @ 26v. This Firebird is a Nitroslots road warrior Inline Comp build BSRT G3 chassis, BSRT 2.6 ohm armature, stronger motor magnets, 8/21 gears, braids, shunts, .491 silli foam rears. Timing bulkhead is advanced. I made one warm up pass and then laid down the pass for ET.
This is what she ran. A respectable but not Class winning ET of .4240.
So without further ado. The Winner is........
Pennywize619 with a guess of .4140! Exactly .0100 difference!

***ATTENTION ATTENTION***
OK everybody I have a couple of quick race announcements....
First, we have a couple of Race Sponsors that have been added to the list.
Ecbill and Pennywize619 Thank you very much!!
Bill is sending some of his paint masks and Adam is sending some new castings. I can hardly wait to see them.
Next....as I said in my previous post, work is kicking my butt lately. I am a supervisor but we are so short handed that I have had to step back into the shift work world and have had to pull a Friday double shift for the last 2 weeks. I originally had taken this whole next week off as I normally do to run the race. But, I may have to work next Thursday and Friday. So "potentially" I may not be able to start the race till Saturday 9/28. There are a couple of things that could change that this next week and put us back on schedule to start on the planned Thursday 9/26. Once it starts though, it will continue without interruption until completion. Sorry about this, but it is what it is. I will keep everyone updated. It is shaping up to be another great event here at Bear Creek Dragway!

Guess the ET #3
This is the 3rd and final Guess the ET game before the race. The winner will be announced on Raceday 1 at the end of next week. For this game we have a Gnome built '70 Ford Mustang AW Thunderjet Ultra G kit car. This chassis is completely stock utilizing all AW stock components that came in the kit. This car was a Christmas Gift Exchange race entry and finished a very close #2 if I remember correctly. I was lucky enough to end up with this sweet ride! It was tuned for 18v I think?? So for the game I am running it at 14v to mix it up a bit.

Jeff, I finally got a chance to work on a couple of cars. I'm sending The Judge for 4GO and an old Vega for the PSO pool. They are supposed to be there by the weekend. Rob your cars arrived today. Welcome to Bear Creek Dragway! |
