Anything dick Landy is cool. Take a look at the real Landy car in the photo. It's an almost- early-funny car. The rear axle is definitely moved forward a bit as well as the front. The wheel wells are re-arched to somewhat 'disguise' it, as if it would fool tech inspectors! The Bob Ford T bolt is a great replica. The steel wheels with white walls are a perfect touch.

John, when I read your post about the altered wheelbase on the Landy 330 it reminded me of a little trick Don Garlits did to get an advantage off the starting line. Remember the 4 inch offset on the front wheels to give them more rollout without red lighting on the 5/10ths christmas trees?

And when I started thinking about it, I realized I could do this: (Grill with the "GTO" logo) And this: (tail lights and license plate) Now this is too cool!

Hi guys! Well...here are pics of my two entries. All of the decals were printed out on my 'puter.. Can't remember, I think the graphics came from somewhere else, and I just saved em. Simply made 'em smaller in Photoshop. Considering I haven't touched an HO scale slot car in 38 years (have done 1/64 scale diecasts, but NOT slots..lol) I think they look pretty good! Got some flaws in the paint, ESPECIALLY the Dodge..but, overall I think I did ok! Whatcha think? Ron (Bondo)

Very cool Ron! They both look excellent. It's nice to see all the custom work everyone has been doing.

Very nice Ron I am going to have my hands full picking the 2 best looking cars. I will be doing some group photos, and single shots as soon as the Test & Tune cars start arriving.
