Well after battling with the local town board for over two years, Parker Dragway if finally up and running. The boys from trackmate should be in town in a few weeks to install the timing system. So far, we have been running test passes on the track. Today we had a firebird ratt rod go for a ride on its roof, luckily the driver wasn't seriously injured just shook up. He was transported to the local hospital to get a quick once-over from the drs.
Word around the pits is that the track is super smooth and the starting line is prepped real well. We're looking forward to hosting some races in the future, hopefully the neighbors won't complain too much about the noise. If it's too loud your too old. Stay tuned for more pics.
