Here are the results of the T&T. I made a few minor adjustments on a few. I'll start off with the quickest. SST1610 #5Car weight 19.6 grams Best run .3558 @ 41.32 mph. Comments The only thing I did was oil it and put your crown gear and tires on as requested. This car is fast and smooth. Nice Job Dave! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tyler #22Car Weight 19.4 Grams Best Run .3705 @ 38.30 mph Comments Added shunts and oiled chassis. Fast car. Nicely done. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Swamper #21Car Weight 20.5 grams Best Run .3732 @ 36.46 mph Comments Another nice car. I added shunts and oiled. You might be able to gain a little by trimming some weight off of the car. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RedX #39Car Weight 17.9 GRAMS Best Run .3736 @ 38.96 mph Comments Car front end was hopping off of the line. I noticed the shunt wires are a little stiff. I replaced with some more flexible wire. The car was better but still hopped a little. I cut one coil off of your pick up springs. Car is a little under weight as it sits. I think it'll come in about right once you get some paint on it and windows. Love this body. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tvasi #12Car Weight 19.8 grams Best Run .3767 @ 39.87 mph Comments Shunts were stiff and car was hopping off of the line (.5226). I replaced with some more flexible wire. Launching good now. Nice car. More results coming

Will #7Car Weight 18.9 grams Best Run .3825 @ 36.54 mph Comments A hair under weight as it sits, should be fine once painted. Smooth car. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 440GTX #29Car Weight 21.1 grams Best Run .3802 @ 39.87 mph Comments Driver side shunt wasn't making contact (.3836). Gotta like the slip on silicone tires. I tried silly foams for the heck of it and it ran slower. Shave some excess weight from the car to lighten it up a little. Nice body, I forgot about these stealth bodies from Tyco. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tbolt #6Car Weight 19.5 grams Best Run .3841 @ 38.54 mph Comments Quite a few cars in this E/T range. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KdogCar Weight19.0 grams Best Run .3843 @ 37.67 mph Comments Not much to say. Smooth car. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AllstarCar Weight 18.3 grams Best Run .3888 @ 38.25 mph Comments Underweight as it sits. Another contender. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 440GTX #4Car Weight 19.6 grams Best Run .3891 @ 35.15 mph Comments Oiled chassis. Tried a 22 tooth crown but it only slowed it down. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roark69 Camaro #25Car Weight 22.2 grams Best Run .3930 @ 34.61 mph Comments Rear tires are rubbing a little against the body. Front tires measure .380". Drop the front end .020" to .030". This will let the pick up shoes ride flatter on the rail. Great looking body. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tvasi #11Car Weight 21.2 grams Best Run .3987 @ 35.51 mph Comments Hopped a little (.4241). Changed shunts with more flexible wire. Seems to top out fast. I tried re gearing with no luck. Armature might be going bad. It has a little bit of a burnt smell to it.

ThunderwreckCar Weight 20.8 grams Best Run .4148 @ 32.78 mph Comments Wizzard chassis. This car has a lot of downforce. Looks like polymer traction magnets. See if you can get some ceramic ones for this car. It'll get quicker. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BondomanCar Weight 21.1 grams Best Run .6194 @ 24.09 mph Comments I'll need to take a closer look at this one. I'll let you know what's up Ron.

Most of the guys/gals here run these voodoo drops in this class. I didn't add any to anybodies cars tonight but if you want a drop or two for the Winter NAT'S then let me know when you send your cars here. Some guys don't like this stuff. I always spray out my endbell with some R/C motor cleaner after a night of racing with this stuff. www.psychoslots.com/index.cgi?board=ser&action=display&thread=821

Thank Sam for all your hard work. It takes people like you to make this hobby GREAT. My Grandson could not believe his car ran 2 fastest. He said Tony was in his car driving it.
Thanks Swamper ;D ;D

Sam,
Thanks for the tweaks! The Mustang ran faster here, but the arm was always hotter. I did have an arm in practice runs throw a plate off the com. Seem to have a short fuse.......lol
Nice job to SST, Tyler, Swamper, and my Homie RedX (Dave). Sherm, your car looks great. Cant wait to put the finishing touches on the cars and send them back for the race.
Again, Thank You Sam for the test and tune session!!!

I think we should have a vote on the voodoo drop's. If we do I'am going with NO keep the power in the builder's work and Idea's.

Thank you guys for running with us. I hope you all enjoy this as much as we do. Tvasi, A few of the cars from your track had the front hopping issue, Could just be the difference in our tracks. They are hooking up good now. One thing to remember guys is that if you have a car running in the .3's then you have a good shot at winning. A fast car running .3500 and say a car running .3900 is only a .0400 difference. Any race could be decided by a good or bad R/T by the drivers here. That is part of the fun with these races. The fastest/quickest car doesn't always win just like in real drag racing. All drivers are competing for prizes as well so that creates a atmosphere of being a hired gun by you builders. Not to mention that we're all competitive when we pick up the controller and don't want to lose the R/T battle to our buddy. This is shaping up to be a great race and appears that there will be a lot of close racing action. We are still taking entries so tell a buddy or a friend that you think might be interested. I think SST, Swamper and Tyler are newbies to these cars and look how they ran. Congrats guys on some great builds. Sponsors: www.slotcarsinc.comwww.tsshobbies.comSKR Customs
