Just a quick yes or no poll. Do we want to allow Voodoo drops or any other liquid power aid to the cars at the MM/PS Winter Nat's?
The fast cars will go faster on the drops and the slower cars will go faster also but a slow car on drops is probably not going to go any faster than a fast car on drops.
On the other side some guys think that the cars become addicted to the stuff and will not run a good # without the juice. More cleaning is involved after the races.
What do you guys think? They are available to the general public. I have voodoo drops so nobody would have to purchase any or if you have a different brand and want them applied then send them if we decide that drops are allowed.
Vote if you're signed up for the MM/PS Winter Nat's.

I voted yes. In the 24th scale we would mix it 50/50 with lighter fluid. We would put it on the braid as well. Just a drop. From I have seen from my own use, it does not make the car addicted to it. Cars will slow down over time anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the feedback so far. This is a proxy national race and just like any other big race that you might attend in person, your going to have guys juicing class cars. Being a National event the low qualifier will hold the track record for the proxy race. One thing we have discussed is having a area on the forum for proxy race records. If we see a new overall track record from what the locals have run then I welcome that and have a $30 gift certificate from Lucky Bob's to give to that person.
Anyways I thought I'd let you guys decide what you want to do.
Our track record is .3408 with no juice.

Looking like no so far. One thing that needs to be made perfectly clear is that if we decide not to run it for this event that only means I'm not adding any to the cars. Guys use this stuff to break in motor brushes as it suppose to cut down on the arcing of the brush which causes less damage to them so you see where I have no control of how a builder wants to break in his motor or what he might like to soak his brushes in. I think the misconception here is that this stuff is illegal in class racing and by adding this stuff it'll make a car go twice as fast as it would without it. On a MM/PS car with the juice we see a pick up of .0100 to .0200 at the most.

well if people want to break motors in using it thats fine, even if they soak the brushes in the com drops it will only last a couple runs, and that would mean by the end of Quals, its back to normal if none is added. So thats fine by me,i just say no com drops b4 each run,and it does make a car alot quicker.i just dont want stuff like this littering up the rules, keep it clean and keep it simple,we all here have been having a great time,so lets not start messing with things too much. Just My opinion Guys.

Sam here is my $ .02 cents on com drops. I see you are having a award if anybody breaks your track record for MMPS. If no body does, take the 4 fastest cars after the finals and put drops in them to see if some one breaks the record then. I think you said your guys use com drops at your club racing in MMPS.
(For the MM/PS Proxy Race held Jan. 24th 2009 Live at Psycho Slots Dragway SKR Customs will provide a $30 gift certificate from Lucky Bobs to the first person who can beat the Psycho Slots Dragway track record when the race is held.)Quote

Hey guy's Sam said that record was set with no com drop's. Ok I promised Rapid Richard that I wouldn't tell what happen to him at the PRI SHOW. Well one of the vender's had a 1/32 road race slot car set up for people to race on. He try to get me to race him on it but I wouldn't. It's drag race or no race for me. Well he raced and he got his butt whooped by a girl. ;D After the race he came back to us and said he had the inside lane and couldn't go full throttle. Yeah right. DEMON
