With all the resin bodies popping up and ones that are to be released soon from Slot Rev and Bondoman I thought I'd share some of my ideas and bodies with you guys. I'm trying to make racer friendly bodies that are lighter and that just fit better. Take a look at the mods. It's time to take HO Drag Racing to another level with racing bodies that fit with a more correct 1/1 stance and that have greater detail that just can't be found in Lexan or Styrene.
New Mustang. I widen the rear .070" to help get a slammed look and also filled in the front end for more of a aero look. This wing is made just for this car to replicate the real Mustang Pro Stock wing.
And here is going to be my Dodge offering. It's originally a Charger that I tried to turn into a Avenger. I'll probably call it "The Chavenger" I widen the rear on the resin body by .105" to help accommodate tires and filled in the front under the grille for more of a aero look. Fresh out of the mold. I'll be designing a wing just for this car this weekend.
This is the one you have all seen. Note the front end difference on this one. I think the resin one looks more like the Avenger. I also have some headlight/ grille decals coming for the resin car by Pattos.
Bondoman is working on some GM MM/PS bodies that should excite all the Chevy fans including the 09 Camaro that he shared with us a while back. Thanks for all the advice Ron. I appreciate it.
