Here is the new paint scheme on Jim Cunningham's Pro Stock Mustang that Erica Enders will be driving this year. This car here is Cunningham's car that was raced last year. The team has two new cars being built now by Don Ness and Jerry Haas that will have the 2010 new Mustang body style with some aero improvements. The team is hopeful and excited about their new blocks and cylinder head improvements that were developed by Ford's engineering department and will be running those later on this year. Good luck Erica, Jim and crew! It's good to see Ford finally helping out a NHRA P/S team again.

John... (Ya gotta know where I'm going here...) That's a neat looking car, but... It's not Mary Kay pink!
I know... I gotta leave him alone. It's just when you toss them underhanded and slow, even I can hit it.

It will be interesting and a breath of fresh air for us Ford fans to see a Ford be competitive in NHRA Pro Stock again. It would also be good for the class if GM and Dodge adapted their Camaro and Challenger bodies to Pro Stock. Not sure if that will ever happen but it would be cool to see the pony cars of today line up in P/S trim. I haven't read anywhere if they will be running the new Ford HEMI motors this weekend. I think they only have a few new motor bolt ons and the new chassis/ bodies.

Very likely being a new car that it will be tough to qualify this weekend. I wouldn't imagine these cars being competitive until next season. BTW the last I looked there were like 31 or 32 cars on the entry list for P/S this weekend. There might be 2 Fords sitting out but there will definitely be many GM products packing it up early
